Faith nodded slowly as she smiled and held his hand, "Yes, maybe we should go in. I want to dance, dance with the most handsome boy in the whole of Hogwarts! To show them all that your mine and you know, sex is good for you," She whispered into his ear softly with a slow seductive tone, "Now let's get in there," She mused as she took his hand and walked back into the hall, her hand slipping over Edward's bum slowly as she felt the tight material on him, she grinned and gave him a squeeze before heading down through the crowd with Edward beside her.

"Now a drink or a dance?" Faith smiled as she turned to Edward before catching sight of Professor Dumbledor, smiling to him and wether she should go and speak to him. So she did, holding Edward's hand as she went, "Hello Professor, how are you? Enjoying yourself I hope?" Faith spoke with a soft smile on her lips as she twirled the ends of her blonde hair, hoping he liked it, Rose and herself had arranged everything.

Gary walked into the Great Hall, trying his best to look happy. He had drugged himself up on whiskey and had a slight tilt to his walk. He saw Alex and Rose dancing together and looked away, a pain growing in his chest. Part of him blamed himself for the attack but there was just no way he could stand to be around Alex. Not after what had happened. He adjusted his mask slightly then walked straight over to the drinks table, helping himself to a glass of juice then transforming it into whiskey. It would get him through the evening at least. He walked over to a corner and leant against the wall. He had only come to keep Rose and Faith happy, knowing the amount of work which she and Faith had put into the party. He sighed and downed his drink, his glass magically refilling itself. Tonight was going to be a long, long night.

Alex looked over to Gary. His heart clenched in his chest as he let go of Rose. He didn't dare go an talk to Gary - especially after Sammael had tried to kill him for the second time. He pulled the waistcoat further over his shoulder, covering most of his scar. He sighed and retreated to the far side of the room. Even if it was a while until the full moon, Alex knew he smelt terrible to a vampire. He bit his lip and sat down in a corner. Why did he let himself get bitten? Why did Gary have to hate werewolves?

Rose folded her arms and looked around, chewing on her bottom lip. Faith and Edward seemed to be doing what they always did in social situations, namely showing off how much they could kiss and dance and talk and be so cute and couple-y; Alex seemed incredibly nervous, Gary seemed incredibly drunk, and Professor Dumbledore looked, for once, the least dressed up out of everybody. What was she meant to do now? She'd have to wait for Marcus to get here, but what if he didn't come? She knew he hated parties and Balls - she wouldn't put it past him to just not turn up. And what if, if he did arrive, he took one look around and didn't recognise her with her new hair, and left? She dug the manicured nails of one hand into the opposite forearm, the acute pain distracting her from her present panic.

Zara walked in with confidence, as she glanced around at the other students. She was persuaded to come by Elijah. She didn't really want to go, but then it was a spring ball and everyone was dressed up for the occasion. She felt obligated to dress up along side the other students. Even though she wasn't much for the crowd life, thriving off attention. She noticed Edward and smiled at him, Though the girl at his side made it clear not to approach, so Zara simply slipped to the side watching everyone dance whilst she drank some butter beer. It had taken a while to complete her costume. Though she kept her hair the natural almost silver colour. She sighed and looked around, wondering who wasn't taken in this place. She groaned and burried her face into her hands for a few moments or so and looked at Dumbledore and smiled then down to her drink.

Elijah finished up his costume by adjusting his hair, combing it back and making a white streak with his wand. Fixing more pale make up and applying a crimson shadow around his eye's. He pulled up his jacket and began his walk toward the great hall. Prepared for the ball, amoung girls dressed in skimpy costumes, a pleasure to eyes, and boys dressed for fun. He however wasn't even interested in this ball, But he promised to keep Zara company, even if it was for a few seconds. He jumped down the last steps and moved past the younger students and pushed past a group of gossiping girls and entered the hall. He looked around and noticed Rose first, or atleast he assumed it was her, He smiled and approached her casually and leant into her veiw with a crooked smile, "Rose? Wow, Your hair" he mentioned gently, patting her shoulder lightly and stood straight, "You waiting for someone?" he asked, rubbing his chin softly. He looked over at Zara and gave a smile before looking back at Rose. He wondered what happened to dolly, Though he was sure she would probably show up soon enough. He was quite confidant.

"Yeah, yeah I am," Rose said, startled out of her daydream by Eli's voice. Her eyes darted across him, checking his costume. "You look great - Sweeney Todd, right?" she asked, glad that so many people had come as muggle characters rather than anyone from Beedle The Bard or anything like that. It made her proud to think that there was respect for muggles among the majority of their generation. "I'm Goldilocks, in case you didn't guess."

Putting on a smile, Gary walked over to Rose. "Hello Goldilocks," he said, pulling her into a drunken embrace. He looked over to Eli - someone he hadn't really spoken to - and smiled, before looking back to Rose. "The hall looks amazing," he said, "You and Faith did a brilliant job." His words were slurred ever-so-slightly, but he really didn't care. His eyes flashed to Alex in the corner and back to Rose. He wouldn't think about that night.

She smiled awkwardly at Eli and hugged Gary back reluctantly, not at all pleased that he had arrived drunk and ignored Alex. She didn't really know what had happened, but she did know that whatever it was wasn't Alex's fault, and it was unfair of Gary to blame him. She could see this becoming a way of hurting him more, Gary coming over to her. Well, she wouldn't indulge him. She wasn't a single woman anymore. "Faith designed it and I did everything," she said, half trying to pull away from him. To tell the truth, she hadn't got drunk in weeks, and right now the thought of it repulsed her slightly.

Gary let go of Rose, seeing her reluctance, and smiled. "You should have asked, i would have lent you a hand." He looked around the hall and frowned, "Where's...umm.... Marcus?" he asked, trying to remember his name. Rose and Marcus were offical now, and Sammael was not at all pleased. But Gary was dealing with it, to make Rose happy, to make her feel special again. Like himself, she needed someone to look after her, in one way or another.

"Oh, he'll be here soon," she lied. She didn't even know what he was coming as. Or if he was even going to turn up. "How's...your friend?" she asked, referring to Sammael. They hadn't really discussed any of this; they'd both assumed they were still fighting for a while and hadn't really spoken, certainly not about serious things. But Sammael hadn't tried to attack her anyway, so she presumed he was preoccupied with Alex. He moved on so quickly. So had she, but that was more forced than his fickle nature.

Gary frowned then caught her meaning. "He isn't happy, not at all. First Alex and now you.... No, he's isn't good at all." He ran a hand through his hair and sighed, "It's really hurting, you know?" he said, lowering his voice so that only Rose could hear, "In here and here," he said, pointing to his head and heart. He smiled, slightly shakingly, "But i'm trying, so it should be ok. He'll calm down eventually."

She remained unchanged, folding her arms and looking at him sternly. "If he didn't want to be hurt," she said coldly. "Then he shouldn't have hurt others so much." She wasn't going to fall for this game of him trying to persuade her back, just to keep Sammael happy. Sammael had Alex, and that's who he wanted, not her. That's why she was with Marcus; for now, at least, he wanted her. Her and nobody else, for a while. And that while would be a good while.

Gary smiled and nodded, "I know, that's what i told him. But you know what he's like." He rolled his eyes and shrugged, "He'll find someone else to abuse and the whole cycle will start again. If he can't have you and he can't have Alex, he'll find someone else." He sipped at his drink and sighed. Ever since Sammael had found out about Rose, Gary had had the worst headache. It was an annoying, constant pain which seemed to never end.

"Wait... He can't have Alex? What do you mean? I thought it was only you two fighting, not him as well. To be honest, I thought you were avoiding Alex because of something Sammael had done..." She ran a hand through her blonde hair, the soft feeling of the freshly dyed curls relaxing her as she bit her lip. How wrong she'd been, and how stupid to assume everything was against her in particular. Sammael hated both of them, then. She would have to teach Alex to protect himself.

Gary bit his lip, "I thought you knew what had happened?" he said, frowning. He shook his head and looked over to Alex again, "I can't talk about it. You'll have to speak to him." He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "You'll hate me when you hear it, though." He knew it was selfish of him to be like this but he couldn't stand being around Alex at the moment. It was too much.
