All manner of witches and wizards were invited to the re-opening of Hogwarts under the administration of Minerva McGonagall, after the death of the beloved Albus Dumbledore.

The hall was decked up in the colours of the fall: orange, red, brown, yellow and greens. Ribbons of each colour streamed across the ceiling which was a warming dark blue, no skies obscuring the unusual colour, only falling leaves that magically disappeared before they fell on anything or anyone. There were tables made out with meat pies and turkeys, another set of table on the opposite side of the room with sweet pies and chocolate puddings. Where the teachers' table usually was a large table with a strange and beautiful assortment of drinks was set up. All of this was a free buffet for all to feast on. In the middle of these three tables were round tables with velvet tablecloths for people to sit and enjoy their meal. A band played in the corner, a smooth jazz that would later be replaced by energetic rock. Next to the band a dancefloor had been set up, the floor clearly polished for just that occasion.

Glinda walked into the Great hall, seeing everybody filled her heart with joy. After all nobody knew what kind of summer Glinda went through. Still, nobody knew her secret that she was a Death eater. But this time it was official. She had her own custom mask and everything else. The only thing Glinda was missing was the mark on her arm. But, none of it mattered to her. She was here to enjoy the fellowship and enjoy the time she had with her friends. Glinda walked across the Great hall in a white business suite like dress, with a little white hat ontop of her curly silvery white hair. Many people stopped her as she went across the hall. She went to her favorite teacher to visit; Professor Flitwick. She felt bad that he didn't know the truth about her real life; she felt bad that nobody knew but it was something she had to live with until she got the call.

Glinda waved to a few of her friends as she smiled talking to them. Of course nobody had heard from her all summer so it was a short catch up. Glinda had to lie to them what she did. Went to Paris, Germany, Russia, and Italy. Her lies slide through her teeth as she put on a cheesy smile, surprisingly they all believe her. She walked off quickly as she pulled out a small little mirror from her purse to check her make-up as she noticed Edward in the mirror. Well never met him before .. might as well now! Glinda thought as she walked towards Edward. Glinda walked towards Edward, her curls bounced as she approached him with a friendly smile. Her perfect white teeth showed. " Bonjour, I'm Glinda." Glinda smiled sweetly with her sweet French accent. I knew Edward was cute ... but not this cute. Glinda thought to herself as she smiled.

Having wondered around Hogsmede for a while looking as misrable as possible, Edward had spoken to Shae whom had seemed to improve his mood only a fraction, but that did not help the many eyes that looked over him, in fear and disgust, some in respect, each look made him feel sick, his insides lurched reluctantly as he resisted the urge to retch at such things, the idea that most people beleived he had killed Faith was bad enough, the fact Edward didn't even know if she was alive or dead. At any rate currently Edward stood in the far of corner in the hall left to his thoughts and emotions. although most thoughts that was for there was still many that spread the rumor around. At least now his thrist was sufficiant enough and he no longer looked like an actual dead being. It was not long until he heard someone approach him and he did not look up until the being spoke, mentally before verbally, she was french, and a rather pretty girl however, the french accent only made him miss her more. Bonjour, I'm Glinda the girl said. Edward cleared his throat lightly and straighted his posture before he spoke in french in a fluent swift language, he ever had the remote accent. "Bonjour manquez plaisir de vous rencontrer. Mon nom est Edward Cullen"

Edward watched as the girl, Glinda came slightly closer, her frech accent thicker then before he pursed his lips, at her question. He had barely even talked to anyone, in fact he had only talked to Shae and now this female had approached him, and was cearly un afraid, wether she had heard the rumors or not, even within her thought there was no doubt. Mr. Edward I am very flattered that you are fluent in French. Edward nodded slowly, with the faintest contact Glinda would know something was not right, yet what did he really have to loose, and no doubt she had heard and seen worse. He was beyond the bridge of caring at the moment. He watched with his arms folded over his broad chest as Glinda flickered her hair, in the manor he presumed was flirting. But I would be even more flattered if you were able to dance the Tango. She added, and Edward sighed softly, he didn't see why he could not dance, and of course he knew the tango, dancing had been all the rage within his time. Pushing off from the wall the music begun to play and reluctantly students had cleared way to make space. Am I really going to do this? Edward had heard her say, but of course he did not comment, trying to get into the feel of the music Edward moved forwards in sharp steps, to position himself with Glinda, his body as upright as it could be as his hands also moved to position them self, cold and elegantly they rested against her. He held her for a moment and then begun to move as the music became slightly faster.

Edward remained silent he heard each thought that pssed Glinda's mind but he didn't comment once more, with a hand on her waist he spun her out lightly catching her hand to spin her back against him, his movements were light and elegant alsthough his expression tried to fit it, he wasn't exactly having that greater time, he held nothing agaisn the female of course, his soul just wasn't with it. Moving around the dance floor swiftly with the various small lifts and dips, Eventually the song came to a slow stop, and Edward hands move to instantly rest upon her lower back, and bent her backward slightly his eyes avoising the more..obvious line of vision. Small clapping moved aorund the hall, as he stood and helped Glinda to stand too. His non-exsistant breath, left him in small puffs, althought it was nothign compared to the beating of Glinda's heart, and her erratic breathing, steping back, Edward gave a small bow, like he did back in his days. "It was a pleasure to dance with you, Miss Glinda."

Glinda bowed gracefully giving a small curtsy to everybody. " Thank you Mr. Edward." Glinda smiled sweetly as she took his hand and curtsy to everybody that clapped. " Come, get a drink with me." Glinda offered as she walked off to the back of the Hall were punch and drinks were being served. " Two butter beers please." Glinda said softly to the waitress as she waited for her drinks looking at Edward. " So, telling me a little bit about yourself? I've seen you around before but I guess I never got to know you." Glinda gave a small giggle. She had pulled out a small mirror and a small powder container as she dabbed her pad in it, dusting her face gently to get rid of the blushing that happened. With in the few minutes it took Glinda to "powder" her nose the drinks had arrived. She quickly closed her purse grabbing her drinks at Edwards extending her hand with his drink towards him.

Come, get a drink with me Glinda said with obvious determination and before Edward could decline Glinda had taken his hand and pulled him to wards the drinks, although at the very look of the drink he could feel his insides churn in disgust, and he held his breath slightly, yet took the drink and smiled slightly, he glassed around the hall, he honestly did not want to drink, what he'd only be throwing up later. So, telling me a little bit about yourself? I've seen you around before but I guess I never got to know you. Edward pursed his lips lightly as he stood beside her. "Theres.. little to say, it depends just what you ask, I'm nothing of any interest." He admitted, swishing his butterbeer around in it's bottle, looking absently for a moment to the floor, before he rasied his gaze and looked to Glinda. "Ask a question and i'll answer instead.." Edward added putting his untouched drink down for a moment, still many people passed him whispering on how he was picking his next victim, he wanted to grab them.. scare them and tell them to leave him alone, yet that would only make him look like more of the 'bad man'

Sounds like a good idea. Glinda agreed for the moment before she then continued in her questions Where were you born? She inquired lightly, Edward noted the glance in which she shot to the far corner and Edward glanced briefly in that direction to see a hooded figure lingering. Just then he heard the thoughts of Glinda, which confrimed to Edward that she knew the figure. This is one night you don't need to be around The scent that followed was one he faintly recongnized. None the less at the question, Edward replied "I was born in Chicargo, illionis It's nothing special as such." How about I ask you something and you ask me something. Glinda replied, to which Edward nodded in agreement, he wasn't particularly bothered. Edward felt suddenly slightly guilty for his attitude. I really want to spend just one on one time with him Edward then heard her thought, Of course it was hard not to listen to such thoughts, and it was rather impoliet of him. "My question then, what interests you?" he questioned his voice low and soft.

Natasha walked to the hall. This was the first event that had happened since the death of dumbledore. She let out a sigh and walked in just as Two people were finishing dancing the tango.They walked over to the drinks table. Natasha fixed her gold dress and walked over to the table. She didn't know many people. She didn't want to interrupt there talk so she quietly walked over to the drinks table. She walked up to the punch bowl and poured herself a drink.

Well, there are a few things that I have interests in. I really enjoy the opera, I sing personal. Fashion is one of my favorites. I have a natural green thumb. As you can tell I use to dance when I was younger and still do today ... sorta. Glinda spoke, and Edward nodded and listend paiently. He thought it best to at least try and make poliet coversation with her, what had happend, and what he had been accused of, he knew he shouldn't take it out on others. "Sounds wonderful, I presume your obviously from France? I myself, prefer classical, I play both piano and gitar..although the Piano is my prefrence." Edward said with a small shrug looking down to his drink. He felt a female behind him, pass swiftly to the punch bowl, didn't the serve blood? If they had, it would of most certainly been rather ironic.

Hiding his grimance as best as he could he downed the drink, but then could not help the sudden grimance that appeared as the aftertaste fell on his cold tongue. The fact it didn't actually taste of anything other then..well dirt he supposed was close to it, it was enough to almost make him retch. I've being the number one duelist at Hogwarts for a few years now, done many compitions. I've traveled alot around the world. But there again what witch, wizard or even vam- Glinda continued moments later unphased by his reaction, which was something at least. Slightly he glanced around for a familar face yet his hopes would only stretch do far. "Fantastic..I can't say I have really ever duled, at least not duled using magic.. I tend to have physical..fights is anything." Edward admitted with a small, half smile although it was faintly forced.

Of course Edward had heard the small blip in her sentence, and cast his gaze down, it was clear even within her thoughts that she knew he was a vampire, obvioulsy there was no use in hinding it, and probably no use in hiding his talent even with her faint theatricals. "No..not vamlock..Yes I'm a vampire." Edward stated keeping his voice as low as possible, Just then a sudden scent filled his nose, and in the next moment his pixie like sister appeared. Of course he had heard her thoughts, Alice's were the most clear of many beings, for he had spent years with her. With a faint smile he nodded to Alice, her own grief was no doubt matching his own. He had not spoken to his sister for what felt like months, moving he bent slightly and embraced his sister.

"Hello Alice..It's good to see you, and I'm here..becasue.. well Shae convinced me.." Edward admitted Shae had been his life saver as such recently had it not bee for her pestering, Edward was pretty sure he'd be in a dark room alone and consumed with brooding madness. "Alice.. this is Glinda.. I only just met her, and Glinda, this is Alice my sister." Edward said with a gesture in intorduction.

Alice embraced her brother. She knew that he was in much pain, thought she really had no clue how much. "Hello Alice..It's good to see you, and I'm here..because.. well Shae convinced me.."Alice nodded in understanding. She was sure there would be only a few people Edward would listen to right now. As it seemed Shae was one of them "Well Edward I am so vary glad you came. I have missed you." Alice said with a forced smile. She looked at the girl who was standing there. It was obvious she knew who they were."Alice.. this is Glinda.. I only just met her, and Glinda, this is Alice my sister." Alice smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you Alice." As Glinda extended her hand for a shake "Hello Glinda its nice to meet you as well." Alice said shaking her hand. Right after she did so Glinda dropped her glass and grabbed her arm. Alice heard her say Edward's name and apologise. Alice watched as the Glinda ran out of the room. Alice turned to Edward with a look of confusion on her face. "Edward I think she's with them. That's the same reaction Bellatrix had when her mark burned her as she was called away from looking for me." Alice thought not wanting to say it out loud if she was wrong.She hadn't been right in a long time and she was kinda getting use to being wrong.

Edward watched silently as Glinda dropped her glass and clutched her arm, Edward was no fool and he knew the reaction all to well, feeling the swift kiss on his cheek he frowned as glinda hurried off, he thought about going after her, perhaps he would in a while. Turning around to face Alice Edward nodded. "Yes I know, It was in her thought anyway." Edward stated before he moved over to a near by table and sat down in a rather ungraceful manner. Looking up to Alice, with his still pained eyes, he spoke. "How have you been?..any news from Jasper..?" Edward questioned, he too was worried about his brother, one day he had simply up and left in a clear hurry, and the family had not heard from him since. None the less, Edward knew the damage Jasper's leaving had caused Alice, her visions were not the same and her thoughts were a mess. Standing up once again he wrapped an arm around her small shoulders in comfort, alsmost sensing her longing and sadness, his perhaps matched it. "I'm sure he is alright, maybe Jasper just needed some time out?" Edward offered lightly.

"Yes I know, It was in her thought anyway." Alice nodded once as she watched as he moved over to a near by table and sat down in a rather ungraceful manner. Alice normally would have laughed at this but seeing all she had been through recently she really wasn't in the mood. "How have you been?..any news from Jasper..?". Alice looked at him with pain in her eyes. no there had been no news from him. She had hoped there would be but there wasn't. "Well lets just say this has been a tough..." How long had it been weeks? months? "Well lets just say it been hard." she said. she watched him Stand up once again and wrap an arm around her shoulders in comfort "I'm sure he is alright, maybe Jasper just needed some time out?" Alice nodded hopping he was right. She let out a sigh. It was time to stop feeling sorry for herself and time to try and help others. She looked up at Edward and smiled. She walked over to the table and sat down motioning for Edward to do the same. " How are you holding up?" She asked him. She only knew bits and pieces of things. Based on what she had heard and what she had "seen".

Well lets just say this has been a tough...Well lets just say it been hard. Alice spoke and Edward nodded, yes he could only imagine, his pain hurt enough, and he had not been with Faith as long as Alice had been with Jasper. How are you holding up? Alice questioned and Edward sighed softly as he moved and slowly sat down beside Alice.."Well, not good..I suppose, I don't know..what to think of feel" He frowned softly and looked to the floor, how should he feel was more so the question to ask. "I don't know.. it doesn't.. matter really, I have been spending time with Shae recently, she's been in the same situation, and she's helped, and helping a lot." Edward admitted with a small shrug, a side from his family, Shae was in fact the only real friend he had. Yes there was Molly, but Molly too had dissapeared and had not exactly spoken to him. Perhaps that was a good thing?
