Angels Lullaby (open)

Molly lay on the long grass, eyes closed and arms crossed over her toned stomach, one knee uplifted and the other leg flat. The black lake was surprisingly none crowded and the sun shone down lightly, but it was fairly cloudly. She relaxed and began to daydream - they were disturbed as a deer in her mind bolted through tree's and then Edward, Lept out and caught it mid air and drank from it, Her mind skipping through details to them climbing the tree's in Molly's determination to understand more of the vampire, Yet her hands could suddenly feel the shiver of the fawn. She flinched and began to frown. Sitting up instantly she stared out at the black lake where a mermaid was watching with a dangerous gaze and soon swam off again. Molly held her forehead and rolled her eyes at herself and lay on her side, sighing softly and picking at the grass next to her. Her gaze never leaving the dew kissed grass as it was torn up in soft snaps of sound. She sighed and watched an ant scurry over her pile of grass and rush off and then suddenly a lady bug caught her eye, and she smiled softly reaching out her index finger and let it scurry over it until it decided to take flight. Envious Molly. Thats what her father called her "Oh so envious of every little creature, no matter the size or species." she looked halfly at the sky and then rolled onto her back and sighed.

As if being alone wasn't enough?

The sun was shining brightly, yet there were a few clouds in the sky, on the odd ocassion did they move to block out the sun's light. Edward was on return from Shaes whilst he had stayed with her for a while he had of course hunted, although hunted on another level given the fact he had drank from a tub, a mixture of otters blood and pig's blood, it was a unique combination, one that went rather well to his surprise. So currently he made his way through the woods, he had stayed as Shae's most of the night merely talking, and the rest of that night he had gone to visit Carlisle at the hospital, as well as helped Esme with various decorations. So now hours later, and early afternoon, It was high time to return back to hogwarts. A while later after swift running at an inhuman speed, and generally vampire speed he reached the edge of the forest, near the lake.

Edward grimaced as the sun shined, and could really move no further, hower as luck had it a moderatly large dark cloud passed over the sun, allowing him that swift moment, yet in the short distance he spotted Molly, He and she had created an odd friendship in the small amount of meetings, she was indeed an intresting person to talk to. With that, he instaly moved over to the large oak tree. He wore the simple white shirt of the uniform, with no tie nor cloak yet he too wore the black trousers and shoes that came with it. The sleeves of the shirt were rolled back to the indent of his elebow, and as usual the top buttons of his shirt were undone. He had only really just put them on after changing into them at home. "Hello" he suddenly said to the unsuspecting Molly.

Startled by the voice, Molly almost jumped to her feet, instead it looked like a baby being scared for the first time - "Who the-" she started off, fairly mad that she was snuck up on, and turned around her hair whipping around and hitting against her chest until she looked up at Edward - Eyes wide. Rabbit caught in the headlights. "Oh Edward" she murmered, and tucked a bang of pink behind her ear and straightened her white shirt and looked up at him, "You kind of scared me" She whispered and looked at him with a sheepish smile.

(sorry its short - will get better i hope, my eye is bugging me)

Edward chuckled softly, at her expression, the corner of his lips raised into a crooked smile "I aologize I startled you I will make more noise next time if it helps" He added and looked down slightly to Molly. Edward remained leaning against the large oak with his arms folded neatly across his chest the oak acting as a shield from the sun's ray "Hello once again, how have you been, I haven't really spoken to you since our conversation in the forest, that and only briefly in potions." he added conversationally, with yet another fleeting smile.

(sorry mines not long either I didn't know what else to write lol)

Molly smiled awkwardly and she raised her eyebrows as she inhaled through her mouth, and looked down before looking back up at him with a soft expression. One used by the quite clumsy types. She wasn't beautiful and didn't have veela talent - But she had character... right? She frowned and sucked her top lip in and softly bit it before realising how silly she must looked and blushed lightly before looking up at Edward, "It's fine - I'm just prone for being scared if i get snuck up on-" she murmered, probably blabbing on, she shook her head gently and blinked a few times, stopping on a decision of how to answer, and she stood up and stood infront of him slightly and crossed her arms harmlessly across her small chest "Hello Edward, Yeah I um..." she paused and frowned at herself, "Im a curious person and I- Uh, Nevermind" she said feeling abit stupid, clearly displayed on her face she quickly followed it up with "Yeah, Potions is fun, You have a really pretty girlfriend." she said and paused and opened her mouth almost in shock at herself and rolled her eyes, "But yeah, Uh, Your brilliant at potions - You father Carlisle taught you some things?" she asked swinging her shoulders gently.

"Well, I aplogize profoundly for my sneaking up on you and I shall not sneak up on you again, not without making some sound at least." He mused lightly. He lent against the tree still and rested on one leg, his arms too remained folded neatly across his chest. "But what?" he questioned tilting his head lightly to the side in curiosity "what were you going to say?" he pressed softly, before he chuckled softly at her very incoherent if not random statements "Potions is potions I can't say it's my favourite lesson, if anything it is rather boring but bareable." He stated and raised his gaze up to the sky idly his golden gaze briefly catching the light, before he lowered his gaze back to Molly. "Yes, she is" He smiled lightly on the topic of Faith "You know..you do not have to look pretty to be beautiful it's diffrent for every girl" He added. Edward shook his head softly "Yes he did, but you too learn things after repeating them over and over again" He smiled softly.

"Nothing," she said softly and smiled ever so kindly in his direction and pretended to rub her chin as she thought. She thought nothing really. Probably one of the only real people to act on inpulse. As he had experianced. She then sighed, her mood changed and she turned as she felt the warm glow touch her skin and looked over her shoulder at the shimmering lake, "Faith is alright, I don't know her well enough to say honestly..." She said in a distant tone, and turned her head forward and looked at her feet, swinging her body side to side making a circle of dirt around her small feet. She dropped her arms from across her chest and swung them lightly, and looked at him "Edward, Whats it like?" she mumbled, "To be inlove?" she finished, her voice lowering, and then she raised her eyebrows as she looked at him so gently, as if a warm light summer breeze just blew over his face. The kind of smile that was rare to find, but not to seduce, but to show he had a place to feel totally honest if he wanted too. She then came to her next question, well demand in someway, and slunk to the ground and stared up at him, crossing her legs "Could you perhaps tell me of some of the things youve seen?"

Edward's eyes widened a fraction, they were very odd questions, not many really wished to know about him, or ask him what it was like to be in love, then again Molly seemed a fraction diffrent. "in love?" He chuckled softly and settled down on the ground before her, remaining in the shade of the oak tree, shifting lightly he rested his back against the tree, and brought his knees up, resting his arms equally on his knees. He thought for a moment looked past Molly to the lake, he frowned briefly and pursed his lips "There is no senstence to describe what it is like to be in love, it feels diffrent to every person, you could be in love, but not know it.." He hedged then added casting Molly a glance and a small crooked smile. "You know when your in love when you can't stop thinking about that person, and you begin to wonder what it would be like to kiss them, and you wish to hold them..Love is very complex, I'm afriad, your talkign to a very Inexprienced vampire in that department." He mused softly. Then at her other question he chuckled "It's really not that intresting, I have seen many things, and I am sure you would not like myself to bord you with it all" he rolled his eyes softly. As he casted his golden gaze to the floor, and begun to idly pick at the grass.
