"aaagggghhhhh" Screamed Blaze as he hurled the Quaffle at the floor. Why did they have to make the quaffle so bloody hard to grip. Prehaps it was his broom. He had been begging his parents for a new one for ages but they always said "Whats wrong with your cleansweep, not good enough for you?" and evan if he said it wasn't they would just contradict him. They drove him mad. He swooped down to pick up the quaffle and continued to fly towards the post doing tricks on his broom. He tried a flip and dropped the quaffle again. "S**t! he swore. And flew down to get it. He was so angry with himself he forgot how to land safely and crashed straight into the ground. A shot of pain burst up though his leg like every single cell in his ankle was on fire. He couldn't move it. He was the only one on the pitch. He did they only thing he could do. Screamed for help.

"Woah! What the hell happened to you?!" shouted Rose as she ran onto the pitch after hearing the boy's screams, despite the fact it was clearly obvious he had fallen off his broom. "Hang on, keep still." She had been right at the top of the stands when it happened, reading a playscript her dad had owled her. It was the only place to read them really, because if you read a script to yourself in the common room, it was general knowlege that you would be mocked. She knelt down beside the boy, tucking her hair behind her ears and pulling her wand out from inside her shirt - a useful place to keep it. She glanced up and down his body, chewing her bottom lip. "Your ankle, am I right? Let me take care of it. I'm not too bad at healing spells."

"Oh God, what the hell have you done now!" she exclaimed as she came running to the bundle on the ground and the crouched figure over it. "Oh it's you again, i met you in the owlery, do you need any help?" she asked, " I could run and get Madam Pomfrey? or take him back to the common room?"
"Anyway i thought you agreed to tell me when you were having practise, Blaze? Not trying to get better than me are you?" but the twinkle in her eye gave away the fact she was only joking and not acccusing him at all

"Why would i do that!" blurted Blaze but the hint of a sly smile under the grimace of pain gave him away. "anyway I'm not going to be playing quiddich for some time with this ankle so you have pleanty of time to practice on your own" He then turned to Rose "unless you can fix me up. What healing spells do you know? they dont normally teach that stuff do they?"

"It's alright, he's only fractured it. I can manage," Rose said kindly to the new girl. "I've..err...got some experience with healing magic. All I'm going to say is that I'm a quick learner and I've spent a lot of time with healers in St. Mungo's." She grimaced, not really enjoying talking about that rather sinister side of her life. Closing her eyes in order to remember more clearly, she touched her wand lightly to the ankle and muttered a few words. After a few seconds, she released her breath and took the wand away, peering at Blaze's ankle to make sure it was healed correctly. "How does that feel?" she murmured, touching it gingerly and twisting it ever so slightly to either side.

"ouch" yelped Blaze as she prodded his leg "Well it hurts, Just not as much. will I be able to do quiddich straight away?" Blaze was dying to get back onto his broom. Now sally was here he could practice some shots with her as keeper. He loved doing this becase she was a useless keeper. She was too light and zippy and her build was for seekers. Mind you he hated it when he had to help her practice by being the other seeker. She always got the snich before he evan realised where it was. Still he loved quiddich and spent most of his time playing it.

"I vote on you waiting before you get back on that broom" she suggested sternly, she did not want Blaze to get into any further harm. " I know my father is a muggle doctor but he always says that a break should always be rested, even if it has been well healed." She smiled at Rose for her impressive healing magic. "You're really good. Do you want to be a healer when you leave here?" she asked her.

"Rest it for a bit. Not too long though. I should say that you'll be able to fly again tomorrow, because by then it won't be as tender or as sore. Wait until you can move it properly, in case you fall off again and make it worse." She winked at him, teasing him about his flying ability. Then she turned to Sally, sitting on the grass more comfortably as she did so. "Not really. I'm not really sure what I want to do. A bit of everything, I suppose... do you have any ideas?"

"Not really, i try not to think of the time when i have to leave here." she smiled but it wasn't a happy smile. It was sad and had no depth

Blaze who had his whole life planned out jumped in. "Im going to work at the ministry, im really interested in the Magical Law Inforcement" Blaze loved memory charms. Those were his strong point. Sometimes when he was bored he used to do Brain wiping. Brain wiping was a game Blaze invented where you stand somewhere hidden and randomly wipe peoples memorys. He got into so much trouble for it when he was younger. Blaze stopped Brain wiping when it came clear that people weren't remembering anything for 2 to 3 days. "Mind you I would also like to play quiddich for the Hollyhead Harpies"

"Very funny," said Rose sarcastically. "Even a geek with no Quidditch experience like me knows that only women play for the Holyhead Harpies. But Law Enforcement, eh? That's an interesting one. I suppose I'll just end up slipping back into muggle life, and living just like everyone else, with nothing special. That would be fine. I've had enough...excitement...here to last me a lifetime, that's for sure." She sighed and brushed her shirt down along the curve of her womanly hips, then replaced her wand in its usual place: down her shirt. Painful occasionally, but always useful, and she never forgot where it was.

"I'm a half - blood i get the best of both worlds." she laughed, wondering why anyone would want to just let their magical power die unused. It was a gift, a beautiful gift. "I suppose i'll end up in the ministry some place, anything to do with transfiguration really. Or i might go into St Mungo's."

"St. Mungo's" Blurted Blaze "God i would hate to work there. The peope that come into there freak me out. Last time i went there there was a wizard that had a live frog growing of his shoulder" It still gave Blaze the shivers thinking of that man.

"Mmm...like I said, I'm in and out of there quite a bit. I'd rather not work there, though, but I do admire the people who do very much. They're complete saints." She smiled a little dreamily, flicking a few curls of hair from her pale face then twirling it around her finger. Her red painted lips pursed slightly then returned to their normal pouting position. "I wish I had better plans for my future, but I guess I'm just a very selfish person who doesn't want to help other people out," she said jovially, rolling her eyes and smiling jokily at Sally and Blaze.

"Well, what do you suggest i do then!" she rounded on Blaze. He had it all planned out so he might aswell plan her life too. "What job has the best way of showing of my transfiguration skills?" she laughed. Transfiguration was her best subject and Blaze's worst. It really was quite hilarious watching his failed attempts scatter the classroom.

"well" started blaze "You could always work at the ministry. Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes prehaps?" He plucked some grass out of the pitch an threw it back down. "I dunno" He said "you could teach?, oh come on, i'm much better at planning my own life, not others. "

"Teaching...yes," Rose laughed a little, joining Blaze in his habit of picking grass, and smirking at the urban myths muggle kids had surrounding that particular quirk. "I could see you as a teacher, Sally. I wouldn't mind that myself, either, come to think of it..."

"Would be fun" Blaze agreed "but what subject would you like to teach?"
Blaze wished if he had to teach it would be charms or quiddich. Teaching quiddich would be fun he thought, flying all day never having to get off the broom. How wonderfull it would be.

"Hmmm. Charms, Ancient Runes, Transfiguration and Muggle Studies are my strongest subjects, I suppose," she said after a few moments of consideration. "I don't know. I'm pretty alright at everything, I suppose, but I hate Potions. I got an E in it, but I hate it so much!" She shook her hair from her face and smiled her Cheshire Cat smile, her red lips parting to reveal her perfectly straight white teeth.

"Oh that would be good. It means i wouldn't have to leave here." she smiled at the thought. "I'll have to ask McGonangall if i can replace her!" she lauhed. The idea of teaching was a new but wonderful prospect. "But i would like to play quidditch professionally, but then agai don't we all want to play for the Hollyhead Harpies?" she laughed and looked pointedly at Blaze.
