"It waas just an idea, they can bend rules" complained blaze in his own defence. "anyway i didn't mean Hollyhead harpies specificly m,aybe i could play for puddlemere united or wimbourne wasps." The thought of playing quiddich professionaly was a thrill for Blaze. Imagine getting paid for playing quiddich. It would be heaven on earth. He would need to get a new broom though. A nimbus 2001 or a firebolt would do.

"Ha!" Sally laughed, "Not on your broom!" she teased. She knew Blaze constantly had been asking his parents for a new broom. It was his birthday soon and she had been secretly saving some money to buy him a new one. It was going to be a joint present with some other of Blaze's friends. His parents were so god damn stubborn she knew they would never get him one.

"There is nothing wrong with my cleansweep!" complained blaze "Its just not exactly a international standad broom. Its good enough to get some goals past you, even if you have got a nimbus 2000!" Blaze loved to point out that he could score goals against Sally easily, it was a bit unfair because she wasn't a keeper but hey.

" Well how many times have you caught the snitch before me?" she teased, "What's that i can't hear you? 3 did you say? Yes i think so." She smiled broadly. "And how may times have we practised together, like a billion!" She gave Blaze a smug look.

"Be fair" Complained blaze "you have a better broom than me! so don't give me that smug look." Blaze knew that sally was 10 times a better seeker than he was but he couldn't admit that, it would take the fun out of arguing over who is best at quiddich. Both Sally and Blaze were on the gryffindor team and both were determined to win the cup this year.

"Maybe we should just stick to our normal positions and focus on winning the cup!" said Sally imagining lifting the cup over her head and seeing the annoyance on the Slytherins faces. "We have to keep up practise and beat those Slytherins!" she said with a determined look on her face.

"No probs" said Blaze confidently "Just make sure you catch the snich early got it? their seeker has a fearsome turn and amazing controll over his broom so you dont want him getting the snich before you do and remeber your on a Nimbus and he is only on a cleansweep 7. Even my cleansweep is a better model than his!" He looked at sally and gave her a smile "We should be able to thrash them this year."

"Oh i hope so!" she grinned. "Hufflepuff have a new team this year so we will have to get used to them. Shouldn't be too hard." she said thoughtfully.

"Yea we just have to watch while they play Ravenclaw. They might have some new moves that we will need to counter" Quiddich and tactics were Blaze's life. He hoped to become Quiddich captain some time in later years. He had to beat Sally at become the captain. She was the faster player, but he had more strength.
"We have to beat ravenclaw by at least 170 points" He pointed out

"Easy, you score 20, i catch the snitch. Unless, i see the ravenclaw seeker going for it then ill beat him to it!" she grinned triumphantly.

"Woah" Said blaze looking struck. "Even if the ravenclaw seeker does see it dont catch it unless we are 20 points up! Just put her off it. Maybe a bludger from one of the beaters would do it." Blaze said this almost in a trance. Quiddich Tactics were almost a second nature for him. It drove their captian mad when he suggested better ideas.

"But i wanna get there first" she moaned childishly. She knew Blaze would make a great captain one day, definitely beat her to the post but with him always suggesting better ideas she wouldn't want to be captain.

"Oh well" Said blaze "If im captain i'll use my idea's and if your captain then ill give you my idea's to use" This seemed like a sucessful plan in Blaze's head. He gets to use his idea's whatever the captain. Hopefully sally would take his idea's into account as there current captain didn't.

" hmm... this may be a plan" she pondered, the thought of Blaze in her ear talking about quidditch more than he already did was not great.

"I think it may be healed enough to use it now" Said blaze glancing at his ankle."I want to get in before it gets dark." He looked up into the sky where clouds were starting to form over the prevoisly clear sky. "Give me a hand" He said glancing at Rose and sally.

Sally pulled Blaze up and began to head back to the castle.

Rose had kind of spaced out during their talk of Quidditch, having stood up and begun to pace on the grass. She toyed with her hair and shirt collar, as if trying to think of something to say, but not quite finding the right sentiments. When Blaze asked her to help him up, she did so, steadying him as Sally walked away. "Yes," she said finally. "I think it is pretty much healed. How much weight can you put on it?"

"Ummm... I dunno" Said Blaze gingerly putting weight on his wounded ankle. He was awoken slightly by a sharp twang of pain that shot up his body but after that the ankle only gave a dull ache. "Seems pretty much healed" He said grinning at rose, "How the hell did you get so good at healing magic?"

She blushed a little at his compliment. "Well, you know," she said modestly. "Like I said before, lots of time in St Mungo's, just watching everything going on. And lots of time in the Hospital Wing. Oh, and I do extra school work and extra reading." Realising she was still holding him and that he didn't need it, she jumped away quite suddenly, feeling a little shy for some reason.

"Wow" He said "Extra work, cant even think how you keep up with other work."
He then notaced sally (who was quite far away by now) looking at him expectantly. "I better catch up with Sally" he said and hobled towards Sally as fast as his ankle would carry him.
