Personality: Brave. He will easily stand up to anyone, though, it's not totally bravery, but arrogance too. Hetalks to almost anyone, and really isn't shy. He will stand up to bullies in a heartbeat, as hedoesn't think other people should be so mean to another. He will face almost any danger and follow through with any dare. Curious. He can be easily described as curious. He can be very interested in things, especially mysteries. He really likes to solve mysteries, which explains why that and Drama are the only books he really reads. Often times you may hear him ask an array or assortment of questions, sometimes something that he really has no business knowing, but wants to anyway. He is most curious when it comes to something like spells, magic, runes, and people. Calm. He is usually a calm person. Someone who won't get mad easily and will usually try and ignore a problem if it arises. However, he has been known to get into some fights and throw in many arguments when he is angered. It may not be easy to anger him all the time, but when he does, he's very hot tempered, and hard to handle. This happens only sometimes, though, and mostly with bullies. Normally he can ignore or avoid a situation. Adventurous. He loves adventure. He will explore caves, climb mountains, anything if he could. Any sort of adventure would get his blood pumping and a smile appear on his face. He loves to get his adrenaline going and have fun. Imaginative. One word that can really describe him. He loves to imagine. Often he would be found sitting under a tree or something when he didn't have another friend around him, and he'd imagine his own made up world and people. He loved to not live in reality, and would rather live in some dream world in some cases. His friends sometimes said he needed to come back to reality, and he'd only shrug it off. He preferred imagination. Somewhat Childish. Yes, he can be described as childish. Sometimes he really likes to do things that you would find children doing, like playing hide and seek or run around playing tag. Whatever he's in the mood for. He's really not afraid to express himself. Honesty. He is very honest, and hates to lie. Even as a child he hated to lie to his parents. And on the same area, he hated to be accused of lying. Dedication. He was very dedicated. He always sticks to what he's doing. Debation. He will debate with anyone. If he believes he is right she will debate the issue. He has her own opinon and doesn't like to be wrong. He will admit it when he's wrong, after her temper calms down and he's more at ease. Stubborn. He can be very stubborn. He likes to get his way, even if he has to duel it out of someone. He doesn't like to give in easily and he wont easily believe he got something wrong without solid proof.History: A very normal life, two parents, one sister. His sister will be starting Hogwars in september just as he leaves.

RP sample:[James Potter]They say that sometimes the weather reflects a person’s mood. When they were in a horrible-the world sucks kind of mood, the clouds may be out and the only light that shows throughout the darkness is the occasional crash of lightening, brightening the sky for one spilt second before slipping back into uncontrollable darkness once again. If you’re smiling and nothing can seem to bring you down, the sky just might be blue and the sun shining brightly.

Mother Nature works in wonderful and mysterious ways.

James Potter, on the other hand, wasn’t one for superstition and just believed that you couldn’t be too worried about what was going to happen, otherwise you’ll never take the chance. He’d have bad days where all he wanted to do was crawl into bed and wait for the next morning and everyone would be laughing and the sun would be mocking him from high above. And he’d have completely and utterly amazing days where the thunder would be blaring from overhead like music, so the thought that the weather controlled how a person may feel was preposterous to him.

But as he woke up too early for his taste, with the sun barely reflecting through the windows and cloud already starting to form- it would be raining later, no doubt- he wondered if Mother Nature had been trying to make him think that she was the all-powerful, since the atmosphere of the day seemed to reflect his personality famously.

He had dreamt of her again. He usually did, but lately it had been different. Instead of his dreams being happy and uplifting, making James think that one day there might be hope for him and Lily yet, the dreams had been mean and foul. The Dream-Lily, just like the Real-Lily, kept turning him down. He thought dreams were supposed to be happy, not sad.

Maybe he kept having nightmares.

Lately he felt like every time he asked her out, she would do just as Dream-Lily did and say no with brutal force that made James want to fly fifty feet in the air, just so he could fall off his broom and hit the ground. Remus said that maybe it was James' conscience trying to tell him that right thing to do-- not to ask Lily and just leave her alone. After seven years of persistently asking her out (he loved her since the first time he looked at her), he thought that maybe his mates were finally right... it was just time to let go and move on. Sirius said he could set him up with many capable rebound-girl candidates.

James, of course, had been on numerous dates, but never one where Lily wasn't on his mind. He always imagined himself taking her out instead of the random girl he was courting.

He sighed, pushing the covers back in aggravation and tiredly picked up his glasses, putting them on and headed to the bathroom to get ready for the day. He was the only one in the dorm, having slept the latest, and got ready quickly. He wondered where his friends had gone off to again, before remembering that it was a Hogsmeade weekend. Strolling out onto the grounds with his hands in his pockets, he went into Hogsmeade, finding his friends quickly, and hearing the end of their conversation.

"Haven't I told you that those are bad for your health?"

"Hasn't he told that he doesn't care?" James came up behind them, grinning. He looked at the broad. He knew her, mostly because she was head girl and friends with Lily. He winked at her. "Melody, right?"
