The Muggle Studies classroom wasn't particularly large, nor was it particularly small. It had 10 columns of solid wood and wrought iron desks from the teacher's point of view, with seven seats in each column. There was room for seventy-one people to sit in the room, which made sense when Melody taught two houses at once. There was a chalkboard mounted to the wall behind Melody’s desk, and a record player sat in the corner, gently humming Shosty (a modern Muggle composer) and filling the room with a soft fleece blanket of hush. The ceiling was painted with the Muggle constellations and the sun. Melody had shelves covering the right wall of her classroom, filled with Muggle storybooks and magazines. The left side was covered head to toe with beautiful, clear windows with heavy red velvet drapes piled on either side. On the wall by the door there were posters of Muggle teams, Muggle television shows, Muggle singers, Muggle movie stars, and Muggle actors, all neatly framed in smart brown frames. Melody kept a few Indian plants on either side of her desk, some by the window, some in the shade, depending on their preference.

Melody sat at her desk, drinking a cup of tea and humming along to the music floating from her record player. She was tempted to change to Metallica, but as class was about to start she decided she best not scare her new students. So she busied herself, fixing the pile of soon-to-be homework so it was lying just so on the tabletop. She smiled at the Autumn sun that was falling in the window, warming the seats for the class, and she wished, like every other day, that life wasn’t the way it was.

Faith knew that Edward was early for most lessons and then therefore wanted to be early hoping that it would be just them, alone but was slightly saddened to see the over eager new teacher at her desk before she smiled to see Edward at the back and swiftly moved into the spare space beside him on the desk. Placing her books down, she then took his hand under the table, "Where did you go?" She asked in a low voice trying not to let the teacher hear, she didn't care for them too much. Only two had got her liking, Hunter was one and then there was Nick, whom she had known for a while, they had connections through veela terms.

Giggling softly she then pressed her lips back to his silently as she then placed her hand to his as she leant closer to him with a small smile on her lips before she then ran her tongue along his lip happily. Yet she knew that she was a new teacher and would wait till more students would enter before she would turn back round to look at the class and in turn when they had finished kissing. Only a few more students walked in, she didn't care of course whatever they thought or where saying under her breath, it was probably jealousy of Faith of which she had Edward and they didn't.

"Edward," She whispered as she then pushed him back lightly with a small laugh escaping her lips as she nuzzled her nose against his neck, "Were in class you must remember we are not at home any longer," She mused but was pleased that he was now showing more affection towards her than before, she was so proud of him as she then slipped him back into his seat as she then ran her hand up and down his leg playfully as she flashed him a small flirtatious grin.

Melody looked up at her class for a moment, she had thought she perhaps heard a noise. She saw two students in her back row having a jolly first day. She chuckled, it was Edward and Faith. Well, class didn't start for another few minutes, she may as well let it go. Melody picked her book off the top of her desk and opened to her page, bringing her reading glasses back onto the bridge of her nose, waiting for her pocket watch to read 1:46.

"It's not that I care what people think about us but from there own jealously, If I saw another girl with you I don't think I would be able to handle it, I would go mad with jealousy. But I have you and because a vampire such as you is impossible to find and I will hold onto you, I just wish I could be the one watching you sleep." She added with a small grin placed on her lips, bedfore she then ran her hand down his chest, before she then nuzzled her nose against his, letting out a pleased sigh from her pouted lips.

"I love you too," She whispered before she then felt his lips attach to hers as she then chuckled and pulled back slightly, "Whats brought all this on? In class aswell?" She asked with a small grin on her lips before she then pushed down her clothing and smiled, tightening her hand on his as she then kissed him once more and ran her hand down his shoulder, whilst she heard other students entering the room and tiscking at them as they saw the public displays of affection in the classroom.

Melody heard the tisking and rolled her eyes at the extreme PDA... she may have made up her mind to be an easygoing teacher, but this was a bit extreme. Did those two ever separate? And exactly how much of the others spit had they swallowed in the last few minutes? Now there were other students in the classroom, and Melody took her wand out of her boot and flicked it, never taking her eyes off her page. Suddenly there was a small grey flash between Edward and Faith, and they shot three feet backwards on the slick wood benches. Melody put her wand back in her boot, licked her thumb, and flipped her page. She pulled out her pocketwatch and looked at the time- 1:39. Seven minutes until class. She was always punctual.

Edward chuckled softly "I don't know, you did tell me to be more affectionate, so here I am being more..affectionate" he mused looking to faith, his hands still rested on her thighs, however in the next moment with obvious force, Edward shot back along the bench away from Faith. He frowned then turned his gaze to ther professor and gave her a sour look. If this was to be thier seats then class would past by, there was no rule on note passing. Edward reguardless shuffled back gracefully along then bench and stopped before Faith.

"I love it," Faith declared to him before feeling the strong urge of the spell shifting them apart and sending herself down the bench with not as much grace as Edward, falling slightly before she then caught herself before falling backwards. Faith, rolling her eyes then faced fowards as gave a small face to Edward before starign at the new teacher blankly. Soon shifitng herself back over to sit beside Edward and her desk, she then slipped her hand down his side slowly before placing it gently on his lap whislt taking her book and slipping it infront of her. Sighing slowly and with the attitude of the teacher, the lesson was going to droan on and on if she was always this moody and stiff.

Elijah walked down the hall way, practicly not even close to uniform hung on his frame as he approached the class room. He gave a groan as he noticed two love birds at the back and some silent students waiting eagerly for the class to begin. He gave a half smile as he approached a desk closest to the window and sat on it, leaning across his bench and dropping his books on his desk, peering back at Faith - they were good friends before, but they stopped meeting for some strange reason. He wasn't sure why, but he knew her anyway. He knew edward too, from what he had heard from Zara - what happened with them disapeared also, he guessed it was because Faith and Edward were together again, he smiled at Faith "Faith - Muggle studies eh?" he said with a teasing grin and looked over to the teacher, new obviously, new meat. He wasn't intending on making this class difficult, but he had a feeling if Dolly showed up he might havet too. Being a rebel, and a death eater and all. He smirked and rubbed his hair across his forehead.

(Umbridge would have done worse if she caught the students making out in her class.)

Melody nodded at the new student who had come in- a Mr. Moore if she recalled correctly. She glanced at her attendance list- they were definitely still waiting on a few. Her pocket watch read 1:41. Always punctual- never late. She could start early, but not without her students. She read on as the clock ticked- they would see what the punishment for late students was. She hated tardy students. It wasn't a painful class- they shouldn't be tardy. tehy shoudl want to come.

Faith grumbled something as she felt Edward's chin on her shoulder and a large smile tugged at her lips, pleased that it was Edward being so much more affectionate. Making her feel a million times better than normal, "She got my ribs, but I can handle it," She muttered before she then squeezed his hand back with a small grin shining from her angelic face, "Eli! Hey! Yes, I am doing it, you're just upset that Im going to whoop your Gryffindor ass in this lesson," Winking before she then placed a quick kiss to Edward's nose.

It wasn't a very bright day, luckily Trace was able to leave his dorms and go to a class. As he approached the class room, a fermiliar scent came into his lungs and he entered the room and eye'd the Vampire sat beside a girl and assumed it was Faith. Her scent was delicious, and Luckily for Trace he had fed recently so his eyes weren't black. He looked at the teacher and bowed his head so lightly and walked to her first and looked at her desk before quietly speaking to her, "I should be on your roll, Trace manson." He said, his mouth barely moving as he attempted to hide his fangs, and looked at her - her scent was strong and rose-ish but then another oh fermiliar scent came and he turned his gaze to Elijah and smiled contently before waiting on the teacher.
