The International Gathering of All Beings was devised by The Department of International Magical Cooperation to bring together all things magical, spice up old and important contacts, stay in touch with the other magical communities and simply to have fun. All magical and non-magical beings aware of the ministry of magic's exsistence are, of course, invited.

The Ministry of Magic's entrance hall had been expanded so anyone with a fair set of eyeballs would have to use binoculars only to see the end of it. The fireplaces were decorated with the finest of crystal balls floating around the entrance of them, all glittering in the light from the floating multi-coloured candles hanging just low enough to the tallest wizard in the room wouldn't get his hat knocked off while wandering past them. The Fountain of Magical Brethren had, like the fireplaces, been adorned with floating crystal balls, in this case, however, the crystal balls emitted a glowing light representing each country in the world's flag.

At the very end of the Atrium, the end where you'd have to use binocular to see, a set of four long tables were finely decorated with silk tablecloths that changed colours whenever someone said "international cooperation" while sitting around the table. Witches, Wizards, odd creatures were wandering back and forth across the atrium, settling themselves at the tables, chatting wildly to one another, the table cloths changing colour every two minutes or so.

Shae sprang into one of the left-hand fireplaces, landing herself gracefully into the party wearing a short emerald dress, accompanied by a sash of lace that was slung across the dress. A silver snake necklace was slithering around her neck, adorned in sparkling diamonds, a matching bracelet placed on her writst. Her black pumps were unremarkable compared to the rest of her outfit. She wandered into the party, a smile on her well-proportioned face, her long dark hair straight and sleek all the way to the end where it ended in a few curls. She wandered over to a wizard she knew well from dealing potions with him, and becan chatting cheerfully with him, awaiting other visitors to the party.

Faith had been spending a long time infront of the mirror, not finding any dresses that would suit her for the occasion before she then put on a simply black dress that clung over her curves. Simple yet very classy as she then added one of her plain necklaces and then looked to the dazzling ring on her finger, that shone brighter than any sun. Sitting on the bed as she slipped on her brilliant stilettos, that gave her an extra height boost she then fixed her hair and pushed it over her shoulder before taking out her phone from her garter and gave Edward a ring, but it went into answer phone and so she hung up knowing he was probably busy. Sighing she then stood up, groaning to herself as to how she had to go alone before she then looked to herself one last time before apparating to the event.

After walking through the fireplace, ducking from the glowing orbs she then pushed her hair from her eyes and let her eyes scan for the only person she wanted to see and yet it was packed. Full to the brim of anyone and anything, she was never going to find him and the sounds of everyone talking filled the place. Slimming her side down with her hand, she shifted the top which showed off her small cleavage trying to keep it small as it was only a small simply, classy event. "Dammit Edward, where are you?" Faith then muttered under her breath and gave up as she soon swiftly headed over to the drinks table hearing people talking about her, casting her eyes over the wizards staring at her, "Excuse me?" She asked with a small frown on her brow.

Tilting her head slowly to her side she smirked as she watched the wizards sigh and walk off, before she simply placed her hands on his and sighed softly. "You, made me come alone." She murmured under her breath before she crashed her head onto his shoulder and smiled, "How did you find me?" She asked cooly before she scanned her eyes around to see if she could notice anyone else but no one flicked the memory trigger in her mind. Plus the other voice's soon faded out as she heard Edward's echo around in her head before she then turned around rather gracefully that normal, "You think I look nice? Well, you look dashing, I guess most of these young witches have been going Gaga over you..." She whispered softly, wrapping her arms around his neck slowly, enjoying, showing off her main shiny toy.

"I guess I am easy to find for you, so have you been busy since you came here? Its full and Im only around a few minutes late," She said simply as she then pushed her fringe into its correct position and then her hand onto his shoulders, "because if any girls have tried, I want to make them know how much your mine and always will be and I shall never let you go, you know that? I have my claws into you, plus, their permanent," She flashed him a cheeky wink, "Well, I think it's gorgeous, no matter how old it is. Just like you," Jokingly she then nudged him before she then kisses his lips quickly.

Faith let out a small sigh of relief as she didn't have to batter any girls today, before taking his hands in hers and entwining their fingers as she walked with him through the busy crowd knowing how she could easily lose grip of him and then lose hold of him completely, scared at the idea of being left alone at such a place as the Ministry when there was so many people, soon making herself grip Edward's hand harder. "Yes, let's go and sit," Faith added before looking up to Edward flashing him a soft loving tone, her hand in the one of her lovers.

Shae had been most in deep conversation with the wizard when Edward had tapped her on the shoulder and said hello. She, however, interpretted the tap as a bug or some odd magical being settling on her, so she waved the feeling away without looking away from the wizard as she happily nodded along to the wizard droning on and on about his business in the Romanian forests catching out-of-control vampires. Edward said hello in such a hushed voice Shae simply found herself to believe it was someone int he crowd sayng hello to someone else.

After a while she found herself growing steadily more bored of the wizard and hurriedly excused herself to go get a drink - which she did. She grabbed a glass of sparkling rosé wine in a champagne flute and steered clear of the wizard who was looking excitedly about the room for her to come back. that was when she spotted Faith and Edward. She gave a newly refreshed smile and wandered over to them at their table, and settled herself next to Edward, running her hand through his hair, desperately trying to mess it up - to no avail, of course. His hair was always oddly perfect, no matter how much you tried to mess it up. "Hey you two. Making trouble, yet?" she grinned at them, a small sparkle in her eye towards Faith. She'd never been quite warm on Faith, but had found herself to grow slightly mroe fond of her since she'd refrained from breaking Edward's heart in the past few months. Then again, who was to say that'd last long? knowing their relationship, she thought it might not. Shae was not a firm believer in second chances. She was, however, a believer in Sun Tzu's "The Art of Warfare" and found a particular quote ("It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will
not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies
but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know
your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.") very suitable for this situation. Not that she'd ever fancied Faith much of an enemy, more of a horrible heartbreaker - not that that was much of a difference.

Faith reached out of Edward's hand as she cast her eye towards Shae and smiled warmly, she understood why Shae had never liked her but then that made her feel more uncomfortable around her just how she wouldn't believe how much Faith was never going to let him go this time. "Ahh, Hello Shae," She added with just the right volume for the other noises around them to make her own stand out, "We're ok, How are you? Long time no see," She added slowly, last time she had seen her she was sure that it had been when Edward and herself had separated for some silly thing that she wanted to forget, but they had grown up since then, well, Faith had. She had found the error of her ways and she was going to make them right, to grow up every day, older with the perfect Edward by her side. Watching Shae's hand slip through his wonderful hair her other hand hidden under the table clutched her leg in annoyance, she would have to check later if it would leave a red mark after all. She felt the urge to growl herself, maybe that's what she got for being to close to a wonderful over-protective Edward, that it made her protective herself. Now, someone else was touching her property, she wasn't happy but she was good at hiding it, her eyes shining bright from the many lights. Maybe Shae and herself, needed a fresh start.

Nicholas stepped out of the fireplace as the flames turned that wonderful emerald green for a brief second. He was glad to have the night free to attend this party, though Dumbledore wasn't too worried about keeping staff at the castle; he had his protective charms in place and most of the students would be here, at any rate. In a smart black suit, Nicholas' tall figure cut through the crowd, allowing himself to let out just enough magic to make people stare, but not quite enough to draw anyone in yet. Yet. It didn't take him very long to find the drinks table, and take some rosé; he would have preferred something stronger but it would have to do - there was nothing wrong with sparkling wine in any case. He let his eyes wander methodically across the room, filling in a mental tick-box as to which women or men would be possibilities to approach, and which he would avoid like a certain plague. And then - no, it couldn't be - he saw a flash of green in the crowd and focused heavily on the wearer. Green dress, silver choker - snake - was it really? Was it really her? If it was, it seemed as though his evening would be much more eventful than planned. After all, mischief was her forte. Although she was different to the last time he had seen her, she was always unmistakable. Shae Lefay.

Edward had soon settled at the table with Faith, as she drunk her drink, Edward simply if not unhealthily adored Faith in many ways he was about to start some form of coversation when he head a noise behind him followed by the distintive scent of Shae. Shifting around slightly in his seat he looked up to her. He too felt Faith's hand clasp his own, which in turn he too held her hand, as if to assure her everything was fine. He chuckled lightly and shook his head as he looked up to her under his long lashes unintentionally. "No, Not yet" He smiled polietly. He watched as Shae sat down beside them "That seemed an..Intresting conversation you were having" He mused sarcastically. "Out of control Vampires? He does know there are.." Edward did a brief head count "Nealry I would say 15 vampires in this place at the moment?" He smiled, as he shook his head, the man would be a fool to bad mouth Vampires, atleast vampires not of his own kind.

Edward then flet the faint brisk hand of Shae's as it ran though his hair, and fell into a neat, perfect structure once again. "Your attempts are futile Shae" He teased and ran his other hand and his own long, pale, slender fingers through his hair. Of course he heard the sudden increase of Faith's heart beat at the obvious effect Shae, seemed to of caused. Not only that but the sudden feel of Faith as she tensed beside him, He in comfort squeezed her hand. Edward felt the small sensation of eyes upon them, it was anoter 'sense' If you will, He out of habit glanced around and caugth sight of Professor Nicholas Flitwick, reguarding Shae in away Edward would reguard Faith. Lightly, he nudged Shae and nodded in the direction of Nick "I think your date has arrived..Or stalker?" He teased absently.

Alice had been wondering what to were all day. Though that was Normal for Alice. She had Finally decided to were a light blue dress. It fit her perfectly. She had straightened her hair so it hung strait down. Alice walked around her room. Its just really weired this will be the first party i have gone to since jasper left. she thought. She then walked out the door Everyone else except Rose had already left.

Alice smiled as she stepped out of the green flames. Straightening her dress she walked in to the ministry. looking around she saw quite a few people she knew. most of course being vampires. Alice maneged to make her way through the crowd. Half way through she caught sent Faith, Edward, and Shae. With a smile Alice made her way over to the table they were at "Hello everyone"Alice said with a smile. She sat down next to Faith.

Melody drifted in one of the right hand fireplaces, wearing a ruby colored halter dress with her favorite flowy, ruffly skirt. Something about fun dresses always made her feel more confident. Stand up a little straighter as it were. Around her neck she wore a small gold lizard with ruby eyes hanging from a piece of twine, a gift from her father before she left India as a child. Melody wore a pair of golden Grecian sandals- she had just come from visiting her father and sorry if she was dressed for July. Melody walked over past the fountian, smiling as she saw the Indian flag just above her head, and promptly went over to see if they had any licorice wands on that glorious table with all the food on it. She muched on a particularly tasty cherry one as she glanced around the room, serching for a familiar face.

Alice smiled when she saw Melody. She looked like she was looking for someone mabey she could help. "Excuse me for a moment please"Alice said standing up. She walked over to Melody and taped her on the sholder "Hello Melody"Alice said

"Hey Alice!" Melody said, smiling at her. "How are you?" melody managed to act ladylike with her mouth full of licorice. She giggled and swallowed. "Did you want something? Not to sound rude or anything..."

Alice smiled"Im doing good"She said then laughed "Not not at all . I just saw you and you looked like you were looking for someone"Alice said "If so maybe i could help"Alice said

"Haha- just a familiar face." Melody looked at Alice. "And now I found one!" Melody gave Alice a hug- hold and hard as she was, she was still a friend. "Brrrr." Melody half shivered. "I've never had a vampire for a friend before. I'll have to get used to that..." She took another bite of licorice. Swallowing, she said "Well, what have you been up to then?"

"Yeah well here i am"Alice said. She hugged Melody back "I really wouldn't know. But i do know someone who douse Faith Edward's 'fence" Alice said with a smile "Really i was just sitting with them would you like to join us? I mean you don't have to if you don't want to"Alice said
