Shae gave a small shrug, and settled herself on the corner of the table. "It's bad. Not getting any better, either. I'm afraid this situation is going to ruin their entire magical civilization," she said and couldn't help but bring in an air of indifference. She couldn't quite care less right now. But she was aware she couldn't let that many people know she'd gone to Bulgaria. With the speculations that Voldemort might be involved, everyone who willinhgly went to Bulgaria at this time, who was not a ministry official was sure to be a suspect in the case of being a Death Eater.

She looked for a second at Faith and then nudged Edward, "care to dance? or would the heartbreaker behind you object, do you think?"

Faith's jaw was clenched as she looked towards Shae, clutching her first as she tried to calm herself down but nothing seemed to work, "Excuse me, but could you please find your own date? Since yours found your company so, find someone else?" She asked with a raised eyebrow as she then stood beside Edward, crossing her arms over her chest and then bit on the corner of her lip before throwing a look to the Professor. "He's so easily amused, looks like the new professor is better than you? Or shouldn't you go and show him that your better than her, the copper haired woman whom thinks she is a great teacher." Rolling her eyes she propped herself up against Edward, "For your information, It's been over a year since I did what I did, I don't think that name is appropriate anymore." She whispered under her breath, before she then threw a look to Edward.

"no need to get huffy, Faith," Shae grinned at her "who's to say I didn't mean heartbreaker as a compliment? in fact, I used it to stress how wonderful you look today, but if you can't appreciate a compliment.." she trailed off with a small roll of her eyes. "As for the professor.." Shae looked around, not spotting him, spotting someone who looked like him from the back, thinking Faith probably confused them with one another.

"I am not looking for a date, and the Professor can huddle around any gorgeous gal he might want to.. so stop embarrassing yourself and find an actual good point to insult me on, why don't you?" she said in a tone that was oddly polite. She really didn't care much about Faith one way or the other anymore, to be honest.

When Shae found herself standing along again, she gave a small roll of her eyes and settled herself more comfortably on a chair, crossing her legs and sipping her wine again. She found it rather boring now she had no one to play with, but she could always find someone. She could always play with Faith. Her buttons were always so easy to push. She waited, thinking about what to do with her time, procrastinating, one might say.

Faith sighed as she looked to Edward and placed her hand on his shoulder and gave him a small kiss, "Wait here," She whispered before she then walked over to Shae, fumbling her hands together behind her back. "Shae?" She whispered as she then shifted uncomfortably, "Look, Im sorry for the way I acted. It was stupid and immature, I didn't mean to say those things. I just wish you would see that I love Edward," She added before she then rested her hand slowly on her hip with drooped shoulders.

As Faith walked back over Shae couldn't help but think of the wonderful irony of how Shae had wanted someone to play with and Faith came over. Her smile faded from her face as Faith spoke, however - she had not expected this. She actually apologized.

Shae plastered another smile on her face and nodded understandingly. "I completely understand," she said with a small nod, and patted the seat next to her for Faith to sit down, "But faith.." she started again, "you should learn to keep your temper down. I've noticed you tend to get angry rather quickly.. especially when it comes to Edward.. and yes, I know it's 'cause you love him, but Edward has the same emotions any other people would have, and if you keep pushing your temper like that you're going to lose him.. generally when you get angry that easily you push people away.. I'm sure you wouldn't want to lose him, now would you?"

Though it might be odd an uncharacteristic for Shae to say such things, she had her reasons - her very good reasons, indeed - and thought it better telling Faith now before it was too late, anyway. She didn't want Edward to be unhappy and she knew that would happen if Faith kept acting up - he would either want to leave her in the end, but would be unable to and be unhappy, or he'd start losing his own temper. Either option didn't sound very good to Shae's ears.

Faith tried not to look at Shae as she looked to the floor with a large frown on her brow as she then felt tears forming at the corners of her eyes as she then felt her bottom lip trembling as she then peeked up to Shae, "I - you're right, I can't loose him." She added before she then felt her whole body shake, terrified of the whole prospect of loosing Edward again. "Thank you for telling me, I know, I should control myself," She muttered in annoyance to herself, before a single tear feel down her cheek and she quickly made it vanish with her fingertip before trying to swallow the large lump in the back of her throat, not daring to look round to where Edward was stood.

Shae raised an eyebrow, finding Faith's reaction was compeltely uncalled for, and yet couldn't help but like her reaction - it was, afterall, exactly what she needed. She had created unwanted misery in a person. She loved that feeling. So in an effort to egg her on, Shae wrapped an arm around her shoulders and patted her lightly. She was sure that if she kept this up she might actually help the girl.. she found that unsettlingly comforting knowing that she was doing something nice for someone. It was quite odd. "You won't lose him," she said in a hushed voice, a small smile on her lips, "you just have to make sure you're both happy. That's all that really matters," she paused and tilted her head. "Are you happy?" she inquired interestedly.

"Yes, of course." She croaked slightly as she tilted her head towards Shae as she felt her arm around her shoulder before she then bit down her bit down on her lip and over to Edward, "How could I ever make Edward happy? I try my hardest, I really do," She whispered with a small frown but then she had caused Faith to think harder, Was Edward really truly happy with what he had in Faith? Gulping slightly, she nodded feebly in turn to the agreement in not loosing Edward. She was defiantly not going to let him go, she would do anything to make him happy with her tears lingering in the corners of her eyes, not yet spilling over the edge.

Shae gave a small pause, a frown forming on her face, thinking of what to say. With a small sigh, she found something to say; "Faith.. you won't make him happy if you keep doubting that you're making him happy. You just have to work on making him happy.. do your best. That's all you can do, really.. and at the end of the day at least you can say 'I tried my best' instead of doubting whether or not he really is happy with you.. if you keep doubting yourself, your work on making him happy will, in turn, be just a doubtful"

"Yes, you have a point there, yes, I need to work harder," Faith said more to herself than to Shae, her eyes burning with commitment and devotion only to Edward, throwing a look to him with a soft smile as she then let out a long sigh. "How will I know if he's happy though? He will only say he is to keep me happy," She added before twisting her head to look at Shae once more, "There are so many beautiful women here," She added and looked down to her hands, "I can't compete with this all my life, when I get old, disgusting, he wont want me then," She added with slight disgust in herself for what she was going to become, "He has had two chances, to let me live with him forever and yet he stopped me, maybe he will stay until I forget, get old and don't have the power to keep him anymore." She added before raising her hand to her neck, "I need a strong drink," She then muttered under her breath with a small smile to Shae.

"you won't know.." Shae said, quite honestly, grabbing a drink from the table - all they had were wines and beers, it seemed, so she grabbed a cabernet sauvignon and handed it to Faith. "It's not about whether or not he's happy.. it's about whether or not you're trying hard enough. You can't do more than you best, and as long as you know you're doing your best you should be satisfied."

She gave a small pause, in which the glass in her hand reached her mouth and a small amount left the glass. She took another sip, settling her, now empty, glass on the table. "You need to be a little more selfish. If you keep wondering about whether or not he's happy. you won't be happy and, in turn, he won't be happy.. it's a vicious cycle. You have to secure your own happiness first anmd foremost.. and while you might grow up to be old and gray, you can still keep yourself happy, in turn keeping him happy.. you see?"

"Yes, yes, I do see now." Faith added cooly as she then pushed her fringe out of her eyes before taking the drink from Shae as she then placed it to her lips before taking a long gulp and then running her finger over the rim. "I do try my hardest, I shall ask him later on tonight. So he thinks this isn't from what we were talking about," She added with a small smile on her lips, "Thanks Shae." Faith added before she then looked over to Edward before she then finished her drink and placed it on the table beside her, "Just I could never be happy being old, to see Edward still so young and beautiful."

Shae gave Faith a small grin, and shook her head, "honey, no one's ever happy being old, looking at someone who's younger. That doesn't mean you can't be happy. You should want to be one of those happy, lively old people who envy the kids, but appreciate the fact that you have already been through it all. Being young for ever is mostly a curse.. you shouldn't think lightly into just giving up being old. Be happy that you get to live a full life - unless.. of course, if you don't. But that's another conversation," again, she gave Faith a cheeky grin and finished her drink, sad she wasn't feeling the effects of the alcohol yet - she doubted she would tonight, however.

"Another?" Faith asked as she then got two more of the same drinks, passing one to Shae and keeping the other for herself, she didn't want to think too much anymore, get her self-esteem any lower than it was. "I know, but Im not allowing myself to get old," She added with a blunt tone yet it seemed soft as it came out, "Edward promised me, after school, he would." Faith recalled before sipping her drink yet, maybe another and she would be slightly the more giggly, tipsy Faith that was rather well known when it came to drinking alot of alcohol.

Natasha walked out of the fire place and in to the ministry on magic. ' why is everything so much bigger here?' Natasha thought to herself. She was wearing a long gold dress that fit her perfectly and hung in all the right places. her hair was brown and hanging down loosely. she was also wearing heals. She had dressed up a bit seeing as this was a International gathering. Natasha walked down to one of the tables where there was drinks. She got herself a glass of water not really wanting to drink yet. Natasha looked out at the many people dancing and having fun.
