Sally sat in the library. She had said to Blaze she had work to do and was staying behind, not going to Hogsmeade. She sat near the window and day dreamed lazily about what he was doing now, probably with Rose. She had a book open in front of her, Quidditch: The Rules it lay open on a page with a goalkeeper blocking his hoops. She wasn't really reading it or paying much attention to the fact that the library was empty and she was there alone.

Edward carried a few books under his arms, he got them out, and had read them before hand yet read them again for light intrest reading, he came into the libary and welcomed the silence that wasn't often there, he glanced around there was only a few people, a girl reading, two girls by a book shelf and two boys studying, he headed to the librian and put the book onto the desk with a small thud.

Sally gave a jolt at the sound of the book. She looked up, snapped completely out of her own little world and looked around like she was recognising the library for the first time. She looked at the man handing over his books, he wasn't a teacher, in fatc she didn't know who he was.

Edward nodded to the libarian then placed the other book on top of that, the book of monster, he stroked his plae fingers down it's spin just encase then he handed it to the libarian who begun to put them away, Edward felt eyes on him, he turned around and his gaze found the girl he had spooted earlier, his eyes where a butterscotch golden colour, then looked away and headed past the the table at which a girl was sitting at, he moved with ease and obvious grace and headed into the stacks of shelf looking for a spercifc book

'What strange colour eyes' Sally thought following the man with her eyes. He did not seem all there, well, not all... she couldn't put here finger on it. He was different to other people, more grace, more physical beauty. She couldn't understand it.

Edward frowned slightly as he heard this thought which was one of his talents he often wished he didn't have yet, he didn't have much of a choice, he continued searching the book running his long pale fingers over spines of books, for yet more light reading of intrest.

He really was different, like he wasn't human which was always possible at Hogwarts. She wished to know who he was, to know what he was, but he would not be interested in a fourth year to have a conversion.

he selected the book from the shelf and flicked through the pages quickly he tucked it under his arm and searched for another, he smiled to himself he pulled it out then flicked through it he emerged from the book shelf and paused by the girls table placing a book down "This one is a good read, on quidditch if your intrested" he stated then disspeared back of into the book stacks to look for one of his own books to read.

"Thanks" she said in the direction of the man. 'He is so mysterious' she thought. At least this was taking her mind from all the things going on in her head about Blaze. Blaze was Blaze but did she like him more than that now?

he didn't reply yet continued to look through the books till he pulled one out tucking that under his arm then heading to the librain desk, so he could get out the books to read, once done he moved to an empty table, and opend the first book, he begun to read silently his eyes followed the words other then that he barely moved if only to turn a page

'He really is different' she thought, sitting at her own desk. She had an impulse to learn his name, something was drawing her attention to him, some force was dragging her to get to know him. She was completely confused. She did not know this man or need to, but yet something was making her want to go up and speak to him.

he continued to read silently turnign the page now and then obviously a fast reader, he stopped a thought echoed his way 'he really is diffrent' he had not to guess as to whom the girl was thinking about to comfrim his suspicions he looked up and acoss his table and the girls till his eyes briefly met hers, he looked away and continued reading, casually, he often got fed up with such thoughts, but there was little he could namely do

'Oh mysterious' she thought but giving up hope of atracting his attention she turned back to her window. Dreaming of Hogsmeade and Rose's message of ' Before it's not to late..."

Edward rolled his eyes slightly as he looked to the book, and then a small very slight smile lifted his lips into a crooked smile, typical of a girl he thought he turned the page and continued to read not looking up, he was more or less mow just listening to the few other people's thoughts in the libary, all realtivly intresting.

'He isn't coming to talk i might aswell leave' she thought, but where would she go, everyone was in Hogsmeade. She stayed seated and began transfiguring her quill into different objects. She did this when she was bored or when she was thinking.

Edward shut his book, the girl wouldn't let it drop, he got to his feet picking up his books then moved over to her table "May I sit with you?" he asked polietly his voice soft and gentle yet muted too, he stood waiting for a reply, if he talked with her perhaps the constant thoughts of her wishing to talk to him would stop

"Oh" Sally jolted, surprised by the suddeness of his appearance, "Sure," she said. Her quill had returned to its normal state and she pushed her book to one side to make room for the man. "Are you one of the teachers here?" she asked.

he sat down looking down thenhe looked up to her at her question a crooked smile crept onto his lip "No actaully 7th year" he stated his voice more articulat and pronced, well spoken for someone of now and age, if not rather old fashioned. with small amusement he looked back down to his book and opened it.

"Oh," she exclaimed a bit surprised, "What house?" she thought he might be in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw, the people in those houses she noticed or took notice of the least.

he shook his head with a small smile as before, he looked up "No, Slythrine" he stated with a brief chuckle and then he glanced down to his boko not wishing for her to notice his eyecolour to much, the eye colour alone had led to many questions and theories
