he looked up sighing and shutting his book leanign back in his chair he studied the girl opposite "I read people as well as you read books, in some logical explination I'm telepathic yes" he stated his pale fingers drumming lightly on the table

"Now that's a skill," she said. "Can you choose when you hear what people are thinking or can you always hear it?" she enquired

"there are some i can block out, some i can't it various on how loud one is thinking to his or her self, i can hear thoughts withing a mile radius" he shrugged elegantly "it puts pressure on my mind to concentrate though, so i tend not to reach out that far unless i have to"

"You heard what i was thinking about you then," she said, she could feel the heat in her cheeks grow with her embarrassment.

he shrugged casually "yes.. i did, but if you think allowed i can't help but not listen, i block most people out, i could block everyone out but that too involves effort in doing that it's self"

"Oh" she said. Edward was a complex character with an air of self awareness and confidence. She tried not to think it but she was getting the idea he was a bit cocky. After all of her longings to talk to him, he was after all just a normal old slytherin. Sally didn't like him much.

Edward nodded, then looked to Sally slightly with concentration he could tell she was thinking hard to to think, yet he picked up on the slight echo of a thought and shook his head "No, i'm nothing likr the other slythrines, for one if i was, why would i talk to a Gryffindor? not that I object, i find everyone should be equally treated, why i was sorted into Slythrine i haven't any idea"

"After saying that me neither," She smiled, maybe he wasn't so bad. "So you're not like normal slytherins, does this mean you are loyal to the Order?" she hoped that he was because to her, that was where everyone should be. On the side of the Order.

"Fair enough," she respected people's opinions, "Better being neither than Voldemort" she shuddered at the thought of the evil he spread.

he nodded "exactly, personally there is no good or evil, right or wrong, there is only opinions and thouse with power to demand" he stated calmly as he continued to aimlessly flip through the book taking nothing from it in, his eyes still kept on the book

"Interesting view," said Sally she had never really thought of things that way before.

"allow me to elborate" he thought for a moment "many think stealing is wrong, yet that theif may need to steal to look after his family thus that being right, another. a fox my kill a chicken farmers think that is wrong but that fox has to kill to feed it's self and it's kits, same with the curses, the ministry disagree with curses being used, Voldemort belives that good, yet thouse curses can be turned the other way to be used fo 'good', do you see?"

Harry walked in overhearing the last few bits. "So you belive Voldemort was good in killing my mum and dad, and countless other mums and dads. Because he was scared. How can you turn that one into a good piont of view?"Harry asked getting outraged.

Edward sighed he had already knew Harry had walked in he turned to face the boy "No i'm not saying that, everything 'evil@ has a little bit good in them no matter how small it might be, and vice versa for what is 'good' look at it this way it was wrong for them to be killed yet right for voldemort to kill them, becasue he belived he should, another point, it's wrong that there dead and right that they can find the peace they no doubt deserved? no?"

Harry had just releazied it and decided not to retort. "Edward can you come with me to somewhere a little more private?"asked Harry and giving a head jab to behind him and stared walking.

Edward stood as asked and inclined his head to Sally "excuse me a moment" he got up and followed Harry his book he left on the table, he folded his arms acrosse his chest as he followed still his eyes glanced around there was a far of Slythrine who Edward heard silently
"Look at Him Cullen socializing with Potter, disgusting.." Edward frowned but other wise ignored it and came to a stop infront of Harry

"Would you ever betray me to Voldemort, because I see you are diffrent from other Slytherin's and I need to trust someone who is actively and a ood fighter with something."said Harry. Harry truely needed to talk to him.

Ron came walking up and saw Harry talking to Edward. Ron sprints up to them. "Hey Harry what's up?"said Ron.
