There was nothing to do during free periods at Hogwarts, well nothing for Payton to do as she was classed as a 'loner' one with no friends and liked to read alot, so she thought it would be best to go to the Library and do some reading ahead for the lessons as she had already finished the homework given during the lessons. It did get tiring with nothing to do or spend your time on but as she had been slacking her grades had been declining which was an obvious bad sign and she needed to get back on and crack down on some hard work - to get back up to her normal standard. With a book on Potions sitting on the desk infront of her she then flicked through the pages that she already knew about and hummed softly to herself as she then got to a point of which she didn't know about, biting her lip as she read on with interest.

Mathias himself had another free period and was at a loss at what to do. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed, looking around. He would usually find himself wandering the grounds and enjoying the weather whilst reading a book, but today he wouldn't be able to. Outside, the rain was hammering down and impaling off of the ground once before splashing finally. Mathias pushed his hands in his pockets and wandered around the school, finding himself at the schoo library; he gave a small smile. Looking around, he made his way into the library and to the closest shelf; picking off the thickest book he could find before slumping down at a nearby table and opening the book. He quickly began to soak in the information like he usually did.
