"You're pretty charming Marquin." Aj smiled- she knew all of the Order members. "But not too bright." She laughed, a chilling sort of laugh similar to her colleague Bellatrix. "You don't know much, but I'm going to ask you a question. How many people here are Dumbledore lovers?"

Jack frowned at AJ. "Why does it matter?" He snapped. "And why on earth would I tell you?" He laughed sarcastically. "Yes, let's go out for lunch and spill our guts why don't we?" He stepped closer to AJ, his head inches from hers. "Don't bother with me," he snarled. "It's not worth it."

"Oh really?" Aj said, looking up at him, he was a good half a foot taller than her, maybe more. "I don't see how that could work- I've seen vampires more threatening than you." She laughed. "But don't get me started on them." Aj stood her ground in front of Jack, crossing her arms, still half chuckling.

Jack stood up at his full hight and crossed his arms, mirroring her. He raised an eyebrow. "I wasn't trying to scare you," he said. "That would be stupid. I don't want you to be scared of me... I want an equal." He grinned. "That way I have a challenge."

"Ha- equal" Aj looked up at him "That's something we will never be." Aj was tempted to make an alpha dog joke, but brushed it off her shoulders. She was surprised the vampire joke hadn't done a thing to her little friend down there- Monseiur Cien. If something had gone wrong again, he wouldn't be at his best. It pissed hr off when the other DE's had problems.

"You're right," Jack said simply. "We will never be equal, you'll always be less than I am." He laughed as he started to walk away. Alex would be able to take care of himself, Jack was sure of it. Besides, AJ wasn't that intimidating.

Alex watched their childish argument with a smirk playing on his soft lips. He didn't care what either of them said, not really. He sighed and rummaged through his bag picking out a bar of chocolate and snapping off a chunk. He knew he should probably got back to the common room - it was past lights out after all, but he couldn't be bothered to move. This girl - Aj - she wasn't a teacher. She wouldn't tell him off. Whether he wanted to believe it or not he was still hemmed in by the school rules. As the other werewolf left he looked up only for a moment, now the other girl would get what she needed and go and he'd be alone again. Just like at the start of the night. But it didn't matter, he had plenty of books to keep him occupied.

"Now you." Aj said, her eyes zeroing in on him, her tongue flicking out of her mouth momentarily as she assessed his face, his posture, the books around him... "Shape up." She snapped at him. "I don't understand the attraction myself- they're a horrible nuisance." She muttered. "But be on the watch-" she continued, above a whisper. "The mark grows dark." She looked at him, dissapearing into the shelves to find that damn book.

Alex rolled his eyes, he wasn't stupid. He knew what was going on, what was going to happen. Just because he didn't like it didn't mean he wouldn't do it. Tucking his book back in his bag he remained seated for a long time, just watching Aj trying to find the book. If she had bothered to ask him what she was looking for he probably would have known immediately where it was. He spent half of his time hidden in books anyway - Ravenclaw. "You know, you'd fit in better if you didn't try to suss everyone out the moment you meet them," he said suddenly, just listening to her run her fingers over the spines. He knew what he was talking about, even if she didn't. It made sense to become friends with people, Faith, Rose, Edward - people like that - so that they would trust whatever you said. It made everything so much easier.

"Don't gimme that." Aj said. She knew he was rolling his eyes. He was stupider than he thought. Aj held her breath, she would get her chance. "It makes it harder to choose." Aj said quietly in response to his suggestion, changing her focus. She knew what he meant- friends who were order members and such, make it easier to infiltrate. But he was wrong- he was so wrong. "I can't skirt like you do. Hate is easier. It's easier. I kill Alex. I was born and raised to be a killer, a Death Eater." Aj sighed, finding the book and slipping it off the shelf, breaking the chain with her wand. "I'll see you soon." She said, knowing he understood as she jumped out the window onto the moonless grounds.
