PostSubject: Early in the morning, at break of day, in all the freshness and dawn of one's strength, to read a book --I call that vicious!--Nietzsche   Tue Jun 23, 2009 8:14 pm

It was dawn, and Morgan was terribly bored. He didn't have a class until ten on Monday, and he had yet to make any friends with which to discourse and while away the time. He wandered through the castle as a quote from the German phiolsopher Fredrich Nietzsche passed through his mind..."Early in the morning, at break of day, in all the freshness and dawn of one's strength, to read a book --I call that vicious!"

He grinned as his feet took him closer to the library. He was curious as to what he might find to interest him today.

Black eyes peered through the door and noticed the familiar comfortable atmosphere and scattered tables, chairs, and benches for reading and study. He traced his fingers over the nearest desktop as he passed it on his way toward the tall stacks of books.

He had no direction, and allowed his feet to wander and lead him to somthing to read this morning.

((hope you don't mind, you didn't list open post!))

Torashiro sat behind a table on the far side of the library watching dust motes dance in the almost nonexistant breeze of the library. She wasn't actually supposed to be working alone yet as she was still in her trial period. It was early but she hadn't seen Darien yet and she wanted to be here when he arrived.

She watched a boy come in, well young man, she mentally corrected. She supposed he was a seventh year, maybe sixth, but not younger than that. He didn't seem to be aware of her; however, she was partially concealed by a tall glass case containing some interesting objects. She was in a position to observe but not really to be observed.

She tested his mood as he moved towards a row of shelving, it was brown... no clear emotion then. She smiled and turned glittering black eyes back to observing the dust motes, which were moving in nice patterns now as he had stirred the air walking through the room.

((This way I'm out of the way should you have chose to be alone...and yet I can interact if something happens! Yay!))

Alex was depressed. In fact, of late he had been depressed very often. Gary had left. Again. But this time Alex knew for sure he wasn't coming back. He frowned as his cold bare feet walked him to the library. The library was his sanctuary, not to read - he hated books - but because of the quiet and the escape it gave someone. Usually he would just sit in a corner and think. But not today, today he noticed someone else. A Gryffindor by the looks of his uniform. Well, he was cute, but he wasn't all that. He then turned to see someone else. Someone he hadn't met before either. He frowned in annoyance, there were too many people in a school. Not one he liked. Biting his tongue he pushed past the woman and the Gryffindor to get to his corner. Not caring if he knocked into them, though by a tap on his shoulder as he walked past he assumed he had.

He was in a foul mood. Than again, he always was. Being a werewolf had a lot of flaws. He ran his fingers absentmindedly over the spines of the books as he tried to find one he hadn't already pretended to read. Finally his eyes laid rest on a book by Newt Scamander. It was one he had seen before, but never bothered to open. Pulling the book roughly from the shelf he walked over to a corner and sat down, not wishing to be disturbed. But he doubted that would happen, his abrupt entrance would have turned a few heads and no doubt the woman would ask why he was sulking in the library when he wasn't even reading.

((Oops, sorry..Ya, it was open thanks for joining! Both of you.))

Morgan wasn't watching where he was going, or even very aware of his surroundings, so when he was brusquely brushed from behind he spun to touch the offending shoulder. He only managed to tap the boy before his hand stopped in midair; he was dark haired and handsome.

Morgan felt his feet leading him in the direction of the boy. Ravenclaw, he noted with satisfaction, his house of choice but the silly hat had put him in Gryffindor.

Morgan could see the scowl marring the other boy's rogueish features; however, he couldn't help but say something. He cleared his throat, "Hello," he began softly, "I'm sorry to intrude, I'm Morgan."

He hadn't extended his hand and he stood there awkwardly, but his eyes were glinting with excitement and mischief.

Alex looked up at the boy, a smirk playing on his thin lips as his eyebrows raised a little. Well, the boy was clearly new, no one in their right mind approached Alex when he was in a bad mood. Even the animals in the forest had learnt to stay clear. Morgan, Alex had always thought that it was a girls name. The again, Alex, he supposed, was a girls name too. He looked down at his book, memorizing the unread page number and slammed it shut.

"A pleasure," he mumbled before fishing in his bag for a bar of chocolate. He could small the boy's blood - un-pure. But not like his own. This boy had been with muggles. He smelt revolting. To a werewolf, everyone's blood smelt different. Just like for a vampire. "I'm Alex," he added finally, looking up at the boy again.

He was cute, still. But he wasn't Gary. He wasn't the same.

Morgan noticed a change in the boy's demeanor, he seemed to be almost... haughty. A challenge...intrigueing.

Morgan watched as he slammed the book shut, terrible treatment for any literary work, even a bad one. Then the scent of chocolate was instant as the boy brought a bar from his bag. Morgan wrinkled his nose.

"Alex, my pleasure," he commented with a half grin. His eyes sparkled now, he was enjoying the banter with this boy, there was something about him; dangerous...yes that was the exact word for Alex.

Morgan was in his element. There was nothing he enjoyed more than a challenge, and this boy was definately that, dark mood and all. He arched his eyebrow, "May I sit down?"

Then not waiting for a reply, but rather taking a huge risk, he pulled out the indicated chair and slipped into it with the grace of a longtime athlete.

"So, I noticed you were not really reading that book... what brings you to the library this morning?" He knew he was taking a chance of being told off -or worse, but he just couldn't help himself.

Alex rolled his eyes as the boy sat down next to him, taking a bite out of his chocolate bar he folded the packet neatly and put it in his bag again. The warm confectionary dribbled down his throat. It felt the same as blood did when the wolf feasted. Alex smiled crookedly to himself. How he longed to go out under the next full moon and hunt again. He was dangerous. Very very dangerous.

Alex turned and smirked at the Gryffindor, "I don't think that's any of your business," he said cooly as he turned away again. Fist the boy had interrupted his reading, then he sat down uninvited and then he had the nerve to start asking stupid questions. "идиот," Alex muttered under his breath, the bulgarian accent showing through just a little. It was then he had a flashback of home and instantly snapped back into English, "You know, curiosity killed the cat," he said, debating with himself to add that dogs also killed cats. But he thought better of it.

Morgan wondered briefly at the crooked grin that passed momentarily over Alex's features, but he figured he was pushing his luck enough as it was. This thought was confirmed when the boy looked at him cooly and replied that it wasn't his business. Whatever he next muttered in some foreign tongue was lost to Morgan, he was no linguist, but the tone was clear.

Morgan grinned openly at the challenge he simply had made it his business, so what? He chuckled darkly at the old adage about curiosity killing the cat. He debated, should he point out that the rest of the saying was "satisfaction brought him back"? He decided that he would be unable to avoid alluding to sexual innuendoes, and chose a different course.

He looked at the boy with the same mischevious grin, "Good thing I'm not much of a cat person then?" he inquired, "Canines are...superior to felines."

He wasn't mocking Alex, but he was playing with fire and he knew it. Somehow he just couldn't seem to leave this boy well enough alone. He intrigued him in the worst way, and the challenge was just too tempting. Morgan was beginning to like the standoffish manner Alex treated him with; he always was a bit masochistic.

Alex frowned again at the fact canines had been brought into the conversation. He crossed his ankles under the table and looked at the other boy properly. Morgan couldn't take a hint. Alex didn't want to talk. If he did, he would have asked. Maybe if the other boy hadn't caught the lycanthrope in a bad mood things might have been different. Or would they have been? It seemed that every conversation he had he was moody or upset. He hated it and loved it at the same time. "Canines are...superior to...everything," he said in the same tone of voice Morgan had said it in. He smiled at the other boy and got to his feet.

His eyes flashed darkly at the boy as he picked up the book he had been 'reading' and pushed it back into it's place on the shelf. He turned back, his eyes daring the boy to ask more questions, as if to confirm his stupidity. He smiled, as if remembering a long lost memory.

Morgan chuckled again when Alex amended his retort to clarify the superiority of canines. He frowned slightly when Alex stood abruptly and made as to leave. He wasn't done playing and Alex was an interesting challenger.

"Perhaps I'll see you around sometime then," he smirked, "It would fascinate me to know just how superior canines...are..."

It wasn't an inquiry... but it was a statement of interest.

Alex stood hands on hips, chuckling lightly, "Or, you could come with me," he offered, shooting a smile towards the other boy. It had been a long time since he had been in the company of another boy. Gary had long since disappeared, along with Rose. He hadn't seen Faith or Edward for a very long time. He was bored of breaking teachers bones, bored of arguing, bored of everything. He needed some fun, and this boy - this clueless boy - would be the source. Whether it was patronizing fun or not. To a werewolf it didn't matter. He wondered briefly how long it would take the Gryffindor to guess, though, he didn't care. If he was asked, he would tell. He had nothing to hide.

Morgan's interest wouldn't allow him to refuse this ripe an offer. "Sure...I was only here because I was dreadfully bored." He stood and reappraised the figure before him.

A rougue..but dead handsome. He eyed the barefeet with curiosity. He was trying to make the pieces of this puzzle fit together, he knew he would eventually, the question was would he let on when he did...

He would surely enjoy the getting there wherever it was.

Alex stepped forward and ran his finger along the boy's jawline, "Bored? Well...we'll have to do something about that," he said, seduction rolling of his tongue like the blood he tasted every full moon. He dropped his fingers and took ahold of the boy's wrist, pulling him harshly out of the library. They would go into the forrest. His clearing. His home. Alex smiled to himself as he dragged the boy along behind him. Oh what splendid fun he was going to have. He could feel his energy heightening, his madness building. This was what he liked the most, when he was free. When his mind had escaped his body. Pushing the door of the castle open he stepped out into the cool air of the grounds. Beauty in it's simplest form.

Morgan didn't know what to think and could not stop his heart pounding as he was touched so temptingly by just one finger. And the real smile on Alex's face was a sight to behold... he wasn't handsome..he was drop dead georgeous.

He followed obediently with no resistance as Alex dragged him out of the Library and eventually out of the castle. He perked up, his senses alive as they reached the outdoors.

Oh he was going to enjoy this adventrue indeed.

((So I guess this is topic closed then...Sorry Torashiro... But oh this was fun!))

((Ahh No fair!! You guys had too much fun without me!! I didn't even get to give Alex a hard time for walking around barefoot in teh Library!!))

Shiro observed the exchange betwen the two boys, it was over quickly and quietly so even if she were, in fact, working she couldn't have complained...except for the one student's bare feet!

She wasn't close enough to overhear the conversation, and all too soon they were rushing out the door. She offered a half smile as they passed her line of sight.

((OK I'm out of the topic then... Grr, LOL))
