Family History:
-Melody's father- Lalit Malik- was a Muggle Indian, and had been an orphan from one of India's biggest slums- Bombay.
-Melody's mother on the other hand- Midge Rouge- was a pure-blood witch from London. Her family was a most respected line of pure Gryffindors. Midge was disowned by her parents after she married Lalit and moved to India, but her grandmother would leave her everything, for pureblood, muggleblood, halfblood- it was all utter nonsense to her.

Personal History: Melody's a half-blood, her mother being a witch and her father being a wildlife biologist. Her father is Indian, while she and her British mother look almost like twins. Melody's mother and father met when Melody's mother had graduated from Hogwarts and was taking a celebratory vacation with her friends in India. Her father would work the country all the time, working specifically in the rainforest with different species of snakes and reptiles. He would capture them, study them, then release them back into the wild. He would also nurse sick or wounded animals back to health. Melody got her first pet doing this with him, a bright orange Gecko that she named Slick. After that, she was always a lover of strange exotic animals. She also learned how to be a snake charmer, and she could speak Indian fluently. When she was ten, her parents divorced and she moved back to the English countryside with her mother where she had just run into her Grandmother's estate and all of her fortunes. There Melody resided until she got her Hogwarts letter- her Mum still hasn't re-married. Melody graduated Hogwarts with straight Os as a Gryffindor, and then promptly learned how to teach, and currently teaches at Hogwarts- as the professor of Muggle Studies.

Personality: Bubbly and Funny, but when she's "in the zone"- prefers to be alone.

Appearance: Long, thick wavy Brownish-Red hair, big dark brown eyes, pale visage, cute little smile. About 5 ft 6 inches.

Pets: Leonardo, an owl.
