The new I (Edward)

Molly stepped out the dorms. Her casual red stilettoes, tight shirt, cyan cardigan, and tight jeans. Her waist length black hair bounced on her chest, and rested against her arms in her stride. Her eyes were defined by soft dark eyeshadow, and her lips were red. She wandered to the forbidden forest. Ignoring how totally idiotic it looked. She tightened her hands into fists and walked in until she reached a clearing, and stood against a tree. Someone would turn up, and chances are, they would be a mythical creature, Edward or maybe a werewolf. She was kind of hoping for trouble. Hoping that maybe she could be a new dare devil. It was almost as if she was diliberately setting herself up for failure. She needed a rush, she needed anything, something to make her heart race. She needed to feel the fragile state Edward had made her feel come back. She wanted to feel pain, she wanted all too much. Her head swam with guilt. What if she died tonight? How would it make her family feel? She felt her stomach turn. She held her chest in her thin arms. She looked around quickly making her hair flow out like a dress and hit her chest.

had been a while since Edward had heard form Molly, or even seen Molly, Faith and he had been relativly busy upon finally returning to Hogwarts, Edward of course made his way to the forest, it was no secret he enjoyed the vast luxuries of animals that lived in the Forbidden Forest. Not only this but, Molly did usually visit the Forest truth be told Edward had often seen her yet, had not approached her, for he knew the effect he had on Molly and did not wish to make it worse, not only this Edward had of course heard of her intrest of a recent student. Moving through the forest his eyes a cold black searched out the surroundings, many secent filled the air one in particualr he knew to be Molly's. Edward had by all menas not intended to see Molly to day but her scent was so strong and so close that there surely was no harm in a simple hello? he had after all not seen her for quite some time. Pin pointing the actual scent Edward lept swiftly and landed a metre to the left of Molly, crouched slightly he straightend and looked to her keeping his distance for her sake.

Molly's eyes shot to the side and she felt her chest tighten and her breathing became harder. She controlled her sudden anger. He had just left her, without a reason, just got up and left. Did he expect her to not want to curse his butt back to his century? She closed her eyes, inhaling deeply, "Edward" she commented, turning her gaze to him. Surely to him she looked very differant. Independant, she looked more like a woman than before. Her curves grew somewhat larger and she stood with an amazing posture that could of been mistaken for veela. Pursing her lips she then turned to face him and tilted her head, "How are you?" she asked, her eyes resembelled his sisters - Rosalies. Now anyway. Though deep underneith this shell was still Esme in another form, she still felt so strongly for him that it hurt. She had a hole in her chest, that ripped open everytime she saw him. Everytime someone mentioned him. It was like a curse. One she strangely enjoyed the pain on.

Edward nodded to Molly's gretting and slowly as if not to scare her he made his way gracefully over the small logs and down the light ditch till, he was soon before her, yet back from her a good metre or so, Molly's scent was still human and therefore would always prove an endless temptation. Molly's tone he had noticed was harsh and sour, Straightning his posture he looked to Molly steadily. "I believe I have some apologizing to do?" He questioned and glanced around no longer would he meet her gaze, Of course he felt bad for leaving Molly but it was generally the only way he would not hurt Faith, for Faith disliked Molly greatly, and then there was Molly, attacted to him as she was Edward did not wish to hurt her in turn, so avoiding her as such was perhaps the best way he could think of, He had choosen Faith.. "How have you been?" he questioned his voice was soft and light, as his dark abysss of a gaze flickered among the many trees.

His voice hit her like venom was was like silk brushing against her ears. She knew oh too well that she had been made second best to Faith. Though the reason was ridiculas - He had chosen sex over love. She gave him an unimpressed expression at his question. "Don't apologize if you don't know what your apologizing for" She murmered, her voice was egdy and fragile. The hole in her chest ripped open and in poured the memories. She winced as if in pain and crossed her arms firmly over her chest. She looked down away from him. Even him in her sight was painful. How could something be so good and be demolished so quickly? It ached and it burned and it made her sleep almost dissolve to nothing. She felt physically sick almost everyday after that one moment in the forest. 'I can't see you anymore Molly, Faith wont allow it' He had said to her. He had cut her with. She shook her head and looked at him, a breif laugh escaping her lips - "Ha - You just abandon me and ask me how I've been?" she said staring at him in disbelief, she looked to the side, noticing he wouldnt make eye contact, she held her arms out, "As you can see I'm just as keen as dying as I was when you left, Uh, what else? Oh yeah I can't sleep, Every time I think of you I hurt-" She shook her head looking off at a bush behind Edwards frame, her bottom lip shook and her eyes swelled with tears, she refused to let them fall "You were gone, when you said, when you promised you wouldn't be."

"Molly..this is the easiest way for us both, I am with Faith I have always been, you know that," Edward then shook his head "Don't be so absurd I did not choose sex over love, Sex is the added part, I care little for such a..human necssity." He stated then climbed up the small slopw till he then stood before her. "I am no good for you nor am I any good for Faith..but it has been decided. I aplogize for my irational behaviour..what I said, but there is no other way." He stated simply then shook his head and looked to the side intently his eyes so black and unseeing. "I am never gone Molly, I have said to you, should you need me I will come, but you do not need me, you are strong." He assured her, he finally turned his slightly reluctant gaze to Molly, and caught her eyes. "The more I am around you the more you grow..oblivous to such things, I am no good for you I have seen that, I do not wish for you to meet the same fate Faith has choosen" he added then sighed slowly "Live your life Molly."

"Don't read my mind Edward!" She demanded pointing at him, throwing her arm around and she clutched her hip. She gritted her teeth and closed her eyes, She could barely handle this as it was. Did he need to be so harsh about it? He was probably thinking by leaving he had done her a favour. She listened to him and lifted her gaze quickly to catch him, "Oh please Edward" she whined, taking steps away from him, heading toward the dangerous side of the forest. She didn't want to deal with this pain, she didn't want to pretend she was okay when all that she was she knew was his. Glarring ahead as she harshly pushed branches away from her, and hoping at some point something would dive in and just kill her. Atleast it would be a stylish way to go. She wished Edward hadn't saved her from the bear days ago. She wished it had mauled her to death. She turned to look over her shoulder, and watched Edward as she walked, turning her face forward and stomping off - If she wanted to get herself killed, and if he had chosen Faith over her - He wouldn't care whether she was dead or not. Faith would be glad to not have to feel threatened by Molly and Edward could just relax and not feel guilty about it. Her parents never wanted her and her adoptive parents were very happy having brought up kids who they now didn't need to worry about. What was there to loose? Her life for one, but it was just one life out of many on the planet. She felt the rush gallop around in her veins and ignored all sound that didn't result in her dying. The hole in molly's chest grew larger and larger and she felt like she was dying already - The pain wasn't strong enough. She had to find something harsher.

Edward watched Molly intently regardless of her obvious intention to throw him off of her Edward continued and followed her still, reachign out a hand he clasped hers, "Molly please be sensible, think of the logic behind this, would you rather I hurt you now and harshly rather then hurt you slowly later? You see why I hate whom I am, I lure such people in only to have to turn them away, I did not want this Molly, I did not want you to love me..and I know full well that you do, even if you yourself do not admit it, I see it in your eyes as you look to me..I do not wish to hurt you, or anyone, therefore this it the best way possible..Can you not see the sense in it Molly?" Edward questioned finally letting go of her wrist.

It was a typical reaction she knew would come. In a way it comforted her that he reached out to grasp her wrist. The sensation of that cold marble skin against her soft warm wrist made her cringe. She then heard him speak. Not even now would she admit to Loving Edward. Could he not see the absolute agony there was in her? The way she would look at him quickly and looked away because of anger and hurt. She closed her eyes again and clenched her hand into a fist - "Yes I would prefer the slow hurt rather than this-" She answered quickly and bitterly, wrentching her wrist out his grasp, "- But obviously we both can't have what we want" She stated and turned quickly, her walk turned into a run as she voided tree's and other objects heading into the dangerous side of the forest. Where no students ever returned once ventured into. She inhaled deeply, She wanted to die. She didn't want all this hurt. This hurt, the type that lingered throughout a persons life. That a person would look back at and cry themselves to sleep. She didn't want to be that old woman telling her children how she once loved a vampire, and watch them throw her into a old people's home. Molly felt the hole in her chest wrench open and she gasped in pain - She hated this. This is how everynight ended after thinking about Edward Cullen. He would hate himself, and Molly would hate herself. Though that was better than pretending nothing was there at all. Love, was when she would look at him and her life would flash before her eyes. Love, now, was when she would look at him and wonder where that feeling had gone. She stooped in a small clearing, and dropped her arms by her sides. "I want death, I want death" she repeated under her breath.

Edward once again did not quite obey her, so much so that he followed her silently and quietly his feet bearly touching the floor as he moved swiftly after Molly. Moments later he spotted her ahead alone, in the middle of a small clearing, he was not about to abandon Molly alone to such a part of the forest. I want death, I want death Where the words that greeted his ears. Silently he moved to stand a fraction behind her, where her neck was in plain view "It is better to of loved and lost then to of not loved at all.." he whispered softly to her, his voice carried softly to wards her, "you are young, you are human do not throw it all away for the sake of myself, there are others to love..others you will love. I am sorry we cannot be that way.." He said his voice was still low and quiet only for the ears of Molly.

She closed her eyes and tried to ignore him, "You can do it if you want" she whispered, pulling her long hair over one shoulder, her eyes flickered upwards. She was ignoring her wishes. His reason unspecified, He was really trying to get her off such a topic. As if anything could replace him. Even Quinn as fantastic as he was, was only probably attracted to her as a friend. There would deffinately be no point in trying. Dolly had already marked her disgusting scent on Quinn - She'd most likely be another Faith within days. Molly shook her head slowly and looked at Edward out the corner of her hazel eyes, "If you don't Im sure something else will" she admitted. How long could her scent prevent dangerous things from coming anyway? She closed her eyes, trailing her fingertips along her pale neck where her vein was in veiw due to how close Edward was behind her, tempting veiw. "You wont even have't to try to stop yourself" she said in a low breath.

Edward's breath left him in a harsh blow "No Molly, this is precisily why I did not wish for you to find me attractive, why I tried to avoid you, tried to just, get out of your way" He shook his head and imediatly turned his gaze away from the view of Molly's greatly exposed neck with her gestures such a scent followed swiftly after. Causing his already burning throat to burn harsher. Edward moved swiftly without thought or any sense of current cotrol the blood lust already raging took it's tool, so much so that he was in an instant by Molly, his hands clamped tightly around her forearms and her slightly fragile frame pressed harshly against a tree trunk. His black eyes flashed with sudden hunger and thirst, that for a moment he was a vampire and not Edward.

Molly stared at Edward, no, not Edward, some vampire who had stolen Edwards body. She felt her back clash with the tree and winced, keeping eye contact with the black eyes staring back at her. Her neck still exposed. Her bottom lip dropped and she breathed through her parted lips. She ignored the agony of her chest ripping itself open - wider and wider. She wanted this to be over, she wanted either him or something else to do it. It was more than enough to handle. She closed her eyes breifly and exhaled. Then opened her eyes at stared at Edward, leaving he clenched fists by her side.

Edward held her pressed tightly against the tree for a moment, he dipped his lips and inhaled her scent that flowed from her neck A small growl rippled up his chest and emitted from his parted lips that were pulled back over his teeth. He then moved away suddenly putting many metres before him, his self restraint was still in tact, obviously. He held his breath. "You are not safe with me or in here Molly, you have to find someone else.." He stated keeping his back to her and his eyes fixed upon a distant tree.

''Edward for merlins sake!" molly bellowed, and ripped a clip from her hair and quickly jolted it across the skin in the crook of her neck. She didn't care anymore. She wanted this pain to be gone and the only way it would be gone was if Edward bit her, She watched his back, blood leaking down into her cardigan, staining it instantly, ''Can you resist now?'' she called out, ignoring the stinging from the new opened scratch she had made with a clip.

Before he knew it, the scent of blood filled the air, strongly along a long stream of coaxing, his throat burning his hunger flared withing his black penatrating eyes, suddenly he moved, more or less dissapearing from view only to land shortly after behind Molly, his posture crouched his hands touched the floor by his feet a feral growl rippled up his chest, human blood open and flowing so fresh so inviting..his muscles rippled expecantly as he prepared to lunge.

Molly frowned as he vanished, and took a step forward and looked around. Then a low growl was heard, and she looked behind her, her hair whipping her face as she turned so quickly. Blood driplets flew off her neck and landed on plants and dirt. She stared at him, her mouth hung open, almost in shock. She closed her eyes, then looked at him, if he wanted her blood so badly - and if it was going to be this easy for him, why not make it a little bit harder. Though she would never outrun him, but, with one step backwards she swung her body round and bolted through the tree's, her scent brushing up against every thing she accidently touched and her blood flying off behind her as it pumped its way to the surfice, her breathing was quick to match her speed andc without warning she lost her balance and collasped on the ground, whilst trying to get up she got her arm stuck under and uplifted root. "Shi*t" she exhaled.

Watching Molly, she soon bolted a masochistic smirk crept over his his pale lips, as his growl continued, moments later He pushed of, with such grace and eas he lept here and there he could smell Molly's blood as it caught the wind, the scent so rich. Too soon, Molly fell forward, such an easy target, where was the fun. Edward landed on a branch not to far away, he watched her with black eyes, his hunger evident. A sound so unfarmilar to himself and no doubt Molly left his lips a cold, cruel bitter chuckle, he would let her run, give her that hope at possible life then like a candle he would snuff her out, with barely any thought. As he chuckled his lips pulled back into a dark smirk his voice sharp and no longer gentle "Run, Run Run as fast as you can..." he coaxed no longer was he Edward, not now.

Molly looked up at him and gasped, yanking her arm free and throwing her shoes off and took off again. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. But her blood kept pumping up, every pulse pushed more up. She was getting tired and ran past the clearing. Running down the ditch she climbed up the other side, her breath harsh. Like so many times before when around Edward. She wanted Edward to kill her not this vampire hidden inside.

Edward moved swiftly and landed before her on the other side of the ditch, he stood tall, looking down To Molly as she climbed up. Moving Edward with ease picked Molly from the floor and threw her back into the ditch, before he gracefully climbed down the other side and stood over her, looking down to her, his black eyes flickered to the blood that weeped from her neck.
