Leil ran from the castle and into the forrest. His class was finally over and he wanted some time alone. Something in class had triggered memories and he was upset. He dropped his bag in his favorite hideing spot and unwrapped his arms revealing oddly shapped cuts. As if something had clawed him. He ran through th trees his arms held out behind him. he let thr trees tear at his arms as tears slid down his face.

He decided to sing a bit maybe distract his mind. he knew a Japanese lullaby that used to work:

"Natsuhiboshi naze akai?
Yuube kanishii yume wo mita
Naite hanashita akai me yo.

Nastuhiboshi naze mayou?
Kieta warashi wo sau shitteiru
Dakara kanashi yume wo miru.

(rough translation:

You are searching for we who dissapeared.
That's why I have sad dreams)"

As he got deeper into the forrest he looked up into the sky. "Great..more black birds." he said as his eyes scanned the flock above him. As he watched the flock he loft his bearings and his left foot got trapped in a tree root. He fell suddenly and tumbeled down a hill.

As he fell he felt the presence of something. he smiled softly at the thought of meeting something cool.

He came to a small ledge and fell from it landing beside a tree. He moaned softly from the pain and lifted his head to get his bearings. His eyes widened as they came to the scene of two guys curled up together.

One he didn't know...the other...

"M...morgan?" He called out softly before letting his head drop from exaustion.

He hadn't counted on the fall taking the wind out of him.

Alex sighed and rolled his eyes exasperatedly as someone else rolled into his vision, quite literally. He had head the other boy from the moment he ran out of the castle and into the forest. He smirked to himself, pushed the Gryffindor off him and got to his feet.

"You know, you should warn your boyfriend before you have sex with other people," he said sharply to Morgan before turning to the new arrival. A Hufflepuff. Typical. Never know when to keep their noses out of other people' business. He scowled at the boy, hating them both a little more every second.

The thin lycanthrope was very glad he was dressed. He growled sharply and pulled Morgan up from the floor, "You know, you have amazing acting skills. I would never have guessed," he said, his lips curving into a smile as he ran a finger under the boy's chin.

"Now, I want both of you to leave. Instantly. I don't want to see you again," he said, turning, first to the new arrival and then to Morgan. He was strangely not disappointed, or sad, or even angry...much. He knew something like this would happen. He just...didn't expect it to happen so soon.

Morgan was harshly evicted from his comfortable position. But the words Alex sneered at him were Damning and confusing. Warn your boyfriend?? Who was my boyfriend?? Was he admitting he was my boyfriend?? And I hdn't had sex with anyone...but him!?!?

he thought he might get a repreive and an explanation when Alex placed his finger under his chin and looked at him. But the words cut like razors.

"Alex, please...what are you talking about!!!" Morgan spluttered. He turned to get a better look at the boy who had invaded his moment of perfection.

His eyes grew wide..."Leilah?"

He had not seen the other boy in years. He had heard that he'd been killed in the Earthquake in Japan.

Alex's words finally made sense.

Wanting at least a chance to explain, he looked at Alex, "I should warn my boyfriend? And here I thought I might be getting one finally..." his words were sad, and he hadn't taken his eyes from Alex's once.

"Please Alex, you know I will leave if you really want me too, but I wish you'd get the truth before you mistrust me. I have done nothing to break your trust!"

He didn't know what to say to the ghost from his past who had come back to haunt him.

Leil looked up at Morgan and the other guy before curling back down into the underbrush. he didn't want to make Morgan any madder than he was already. he wimpered softl as stones and sharp twings scratched and embedded and stabbed into his skin.

He rolled away and beside a tree and listened to Morgan explaining to "Alex". He bit his lip when he realized the trouble he had caused and slowly stood up and walked over yet stayed a good 4 feet away.

"Umm...s...sorry....I..I didn't mean to cause trouble..I..I just tripped up there. And, umm..Morgan and I...umm we were friends a long time ago but now..well we aren't soooo..p..please forgive him. He's not um...cheating on you or anything."

He looked at Alex with worried and apolagetic eyes hoping that he would forgive Morgan.

Alex's eyes narrowed as he walked over to the Hufflepuff and pulled him closer by grabbing ahold of his shirt. "Look, You're in my forest, my clearing, and you will do what I say. Is that understood?" he said, his eyes glazed over with anger. He looked the boy up and down - what had Morgan called him? Leilah. Alex dropped the Hufflepuff and turned back to Morgan, crossing his arms over his chest. Great - surrounded by girls, he mused as started at the Gryffindor. "You keep telling me you'll leave when I want you to and then every time I ask you try and find an excuse not to go. What happened to not fussing?" he spat getting closer to the boy, "You know I will leave if you really want me too, but just let me find an excuse first," he growled, in quite an accurate impression of the other boy. Dropping his arms to his side he finally got close enough to whisper in the boy's ear, "I really want you to leave..."

Morgan turned to Alex one last time. "I thought you were different...but you're just like everyone else, it wasn't anything to you was it?" he spat the words in the boy's direction, "Fine then I'll go but it's your loss, I really cared about you and I was nothing but true and honest to you."

He turned to go and walked past the other boy he paused for only a second and pulled his fist back and struck him right in the mouth. "I hate you for ruining everything again." he snarled and stepped out of the clearing. He didn't get far before he slumped against a tree. He wasn't weak, but he was hurt deeply. What had happened to the warm feelings?

Alex really didn't care, he had jumped to any convenient conclusion to escape. He thought I would run away when he's the one running, he thought. Morgan sat there thinking what to do next.

A soft sound in the underbrush, a four legged animal of considerable size, was coming in his direction. He didn't look up; if it was friendly he didn't want to talk, if it was lethal then he might have something to say. He waited until it broke through the greenery in front of him. "You stupid dog!" he said in shock and slight relief. King had somehow gotten out of the castle and followed him here, he must have been concerned when Morgan didn't come back like he said he would. That dog had more intelligence than a lot of people Morgan knew, some he barely knew.

The most faithful being Morgan knew sat down beside him and looked at him as if to tell him to get up and go do something. Morgan laid his hand on King's huge head, he knew the Rottweiler understood him without him even having to say anything; he wasn't going anywhere, and he didn't have anything to say.

King gave him a longing look and rose to his feet gazing back only once before he left the clearing, He knew his master so well and understood he needed to just be alone.

Alex sighed as Morgan left, he knew he had probably done the wrong thing, but since when had he apologized to anyone? He left the Hufflepuff where he stood and followed Morgan to the tree. He could instantly smell dog and he froze, waiting for it to pass. Eventually it did and the lycanthrope came out of the tree and crouched opposite the Gryffindor.

"Look, I warned you being with me was a bad idea. Especially now. It's better off if we're not together. I'm going to end up hurting you more than this, I don't want to, but I will. It will just get worse and worse until you really want to leave. I'm not good for you, and you can't change me. We're better off apart. I don't want you to get hurt," he said, running a hand though his dark hair as he got back to his feet.

Alex sighed and turned his back on the other boy and crossed his arms over his thin frame, "I don't know. Don't get me wrong, I do like you... it's just, it's not going to be worth all the pain in the end. Nothing is worth that. I've had my taste of freedom now and I don't really want to go back. It's hard to explain," he said slowly and quietly, not wanting to say too much in case he regretted it.

Alex smiled gratefully at Morgan and then, slowly, he leant forward and kissed the boy's lips - almost as if they were in love. Though, Alex wasn't sure how he even felt anymore. Everything had been so messed up over the last few months that he couldn't even tell right from wrong. In his mind, everyone was out to get him and no one was a friend. Yet Morgan had begun to change that; and Alex wasn't sure whether he was enjoying it or not. It was almost out of his comfort zone.

Leil slumped to the forrest floor after both boys had left. He bit his lips to keep from crying. Morgan had forgotten him, and this other guy randomly yelled at him. This wasn't what he had com the the forrest for. Also, who was this guy!? His forrest? His clearing!? As if!! The forrest wasn't his.....and besides, leil had been coming here to get away from school for years.

He sighed and stood up looking in the direction the boys had gone. "Hehehe...guess that's what I get eh?" He mumbled to himself before turning and walking away. "Bye Morgan.....sorry for causing you trouble....I'll not be a bother anymore." He looked at the forrest floor and kept moving.
