Blaze sat in the empty classroom with his feet on the desk. He had been practacing charms for hours on end and now he was bored. A pile of burnt cushions lay in a corner. Blaze had been doing all sorts of charms. Banishing, summoning, Incendio and Augumenti, Alohomora. (It took him 3 tries to unlock the door to even get into the classroom.) He had also been practicing making a patronus. He now had twice been able to make his little squirrel monkey patronus glide around the room before he collapsed. He pointed his wand at the desk next to him. "Incendio!" Instantly bright flames rose from the desk. He looked at it for a moment glad that he had mastered the spell completely and then put it out with augumenti.

"What are you doing in here?" Sally stood in the doorway, watching Blaze's reaction to her sudden appearance. "Actually while you're here, I need to talk to you." she was suddenly serious and anxious and embarrassed all in one. She knew she had to tell him and she knew it had to be done, in the words of Rose 'Before it was too late...

"Im practicing" said blaze shocked by the arrival of sally. Did she always know where he was. He screwed up his eyes and once again a gleaming squirrel monkey came out of his wand and floated about near his head. "whats up?" he asked.

"Well, I, I , I" she stuttered now the time had come to ask him what was happening between them she just couldn't get the words out. "I was talking to Rose, up in the Owlery the other day, you know when i was asking if she would donate to your broom." she paused so that Blaze could show he understood or not, she felt like she had been rambling on.

"Go on..." Said blaze motioning with his fingers for her to continue. His little patronus died out and the room lost it's silvery glow.

"Well we were talking," she said, "About like her and Gary, you know about them don't you?" she asked Blaze. "I didn't just tell you something i shouldn't, did i?" she felt like she was getting of the subject but hey ho she would get there. She felt vry tense and felt like Blaze, for once, was listening to her evry word.

"Yea don't worry i know a bit about Rose and Gary" said blaze trying to push the convosation on. Blaze had stopped absent mindedly doing charms and was giving sally his full atention. It seemed like she had something important to say.

" Well then we moved on to... Well then we moved on to.. On to me and you," she finished, shutting her eyes as not to see the expression on Blaze's face. She carried on eyes still clamped shut. " It got me thinking. If we were yano," she paused, "Like them."

Blaze looked into sally's now open eyes still not quite getting the point. "Like them?" he asked. Blaze was quite slow when it came to these sort of things

"Oh good grief, make it harder than it already is!" she snapped. "Well you know the were friends first, before something happened, which made Rose realise she liked Gary and vis versa" she said

"you mean..." said Blaze. He was lost for words, He just walked over and puleed sally into a massve hug. "I thought you would never ask" He said "I've always loved but never had the guts to ask you if you felt the same"

Weasel had been watching from the door for a little while, he did not want to desturb this beautiful scene.
He just grinned when they hugged. It made him happy because Sally and Tom meant alot to him and this was all very cute to him, and he rarely thought that

"Sweet, isn't it?" Rose whispered almost inaudibly in Ryan's ear - she had just caught sight of Sally and Blaze. She grinned widely and crossed her arms, looking upon the scene as if it was a piece of work she was proud of.

(HaHa That was the Cheesiest thing ever Tom!)

She looked at him sideways, "I never said i did. I said i was wondering."

[I like cheesy and you have just killed the mood]

"oh" said blaze stepping back and looking embarrased "I just thought.. when you said..." He stumbled over the words and was dumbstruck. Like them? what did she mean by like them? Blaze was confused and began nervously levitating a chair.

She raised her eyebrows at him, smiled and left the room. She jumped when she got out of the door as Rose and Weasel were standing there. Weasel shook his head, he was obviously empathising with Blaze. She caught Rose's eye and grinned broadly, she had got Blaze where she wanted him now and he would be hers to play around with. She knew Rose would understand for two reasons: she was a girl and she did it to Gary.

Sally skipped down the corridor feeling that a large weight had been lifted.

Blaze who was slightly suprised by the appearence of Weasel and Rose stood in the middle of the classroom. He didn't know what to say. He threw Rose and Weasel a 'give me sympathy' look and returned back to levitating chairs. Rose and Weasel were standing in the doorway. Rose was looking rather pleased with herself, weasel was looking at the pile of dummies in the corner. Blaze noticed his finders twitching towards his wand. Couldn't weasel ever resist the temptation. "Now what?" he asked

"Wait a second," said Rose, catching Sally's arm as she left the room. "What was all that about? I thought you were going to have a lovely moment, maybe end up with some kissing, and then everything would sort itself out. What did you just do?" She felt as though - maybe - she had underestimated Sally's female wiles. Perhaps she was much more manipulating than she had at first imagined. And what if Rose herself had given her these ideas? It wasn't exactly what she had meant, but it was certainly understandable.

"Maybe i don't want that," she said looking Rose straight in the eyes. "Don't you do that with Gary? You're not technically an item but you've kept him from going out with anyone else," she said, eyebrows raised. The weight seemed to have piled itself back on when Rose had caught her but she resisted it and gave it as good as she got. She jerked her arm out of Rose's grasp and looked at her seriously, "Well you do don't you, I thought you of all people would understand you told me to tell him anyway."

It was a fair point. "Alright, calm down, I'm not having a go. I'm just a little confused. And yes," she murmured in a lower voice, a dreamy smile crossing her face. "Yes, I suppose you could say that about Gary and I. Especially seeing as...Sammael's back."

"But that's irrelevant!" she said quickly, snapping out of the 'trance'. "I say, 'Congratulations' to you. You have done excellently where I have to admit, I didn't think you would succeed. Not only did you get him to admit his feelings, but you also managed to thoroughly confuse him all in one go. Now he'll be trailing after you for weeks, I would have thought." She smirked and patted Sally on the back, as if she had done a good piece of classwork or something.
