Alex grinned, "You don't like her? She seems pretty harmless to me..." Alex looked over to the lake and then to the forest. "Forest," he said. There were hundreds of forests in Bulgaria, then again, there were hundreds of lakes too. He saw the tree tops reaching into the distance and the trunks pushing their way along the ground. He turned to face Faith as she curled more hair around her finger. "Or would you rather go to the lake?"

Gary hummed to himself as he wondered out of the forest. Of course he didn't enjoy Sammael hunting, no.. Well not much anyway. But after every feed, he always felt happier in himself. He smiled, his white teeth glinting in the sun. It was a warm day, for Scotland anyway, and there were a lot of students out and about. He nodded at a few familiar faces but didn't speak to any of them. His smile broadened as he saw Faith up ahead, obviously showing someone around the school. "Faith!" he called, waving at her and walking over to her. He glanced once at the boy next to him then did a double take, his mouth hanging open in an 'o' shape. He was beautiful, there was no other word for it. He blinked a few times then looked back at Faith. "Umm...hey.." he stuttered, "I was going to ask you something but i can't remember what it was." He frowned then shrugged, "Couldn't have been important."

Alex blushed slightly as he saw that the boy had been staring at him. He looked down quickly as he realized he too, was staring back. Alex stepped back a little to allow Faith and her friend to talk without his interruption. He watched the new arrival, making sure not to make eye contact and to not stare for too long. The boy was gorgeous, his hair was smooth and silky, not like Alex's wavy mess. He had bright eyes. Sure Alex had nice eyes, they changed colour in certain light, but they weren't shining, they weren't...Alex sighed, they weren't eye catching. There was no other way of putting it.

Gary continued to smile, somewhat nervously when he realised the other boy was looking at him. He looked back and his smile broadened, "Hey I'm Gary Nightshade," he held out his slim, pale hand towards the other boy. He was beautiful, no doubt about it. Messy, wavy hair and eyes that seemed to change colour each time Gary looked at them. He cocked his head to the side slightly, "I'm guessing you're the new Ravenclaw," he said, still smiling.

Faith stepped back with a large smile on her lips, she looked to Gary - the way they looked at each other reminded her of when she first met Edward. Letting out a soft, happy sigh, she looked down to her feet and bit on her lip, "Gary, maybe you would like to join us?" She whispered in his ear as she then looked to Alex, "Yes, he is the new ravenclaw - Im sure you can show him around the boys dorm, help him settle in." She let out a soft, playful laugh.

Alex blushed even more as he shook Gary's hand. "I'm Alex," he said nervously. He shot a glance at Faith who had a look on her face that said she was planning something. He wasn't sure whether to be more nervous or calmer. Although, a cheeky grin suggested he wasn't to worry. He smiled at Gary, hoping he didn't look too childish. Something in his mind told him that Gary was a lot different to other boys, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Alex abandoned that thought and allowed Faith to continue the conversation.

Gary smiled then blushed at Faith's comment. "Err yeah i can... Where abouts were you two heading for now?" He addressed the question at Faith, fearing that if he looked at Alex for too long he would start drooling over him. His imagination was in overdrive at the thought of showing Alex around the boy's dorm. But again, the fear of drooling or making a fool of himself pushed those thoughts out of his head.

"Now Gary, I was just about to show Alex the lake, do you want to come?" She asked with a soft twist of the lips she then headed more towards the lake, slowly, ambling as she then waited for the two love birds, "Can you stop gazing into each other's eyes just to walk to the lake and then you can continue." She laughed cheekily, winking to Gary.

(this has suddenly turned to a very odd thred, so i'm going to join- double date anyone lol)

Edward climbed the steps up from the Slythrine dungeon, shrugging on his jacket, He wore a crimson turtle neck underneath his Jackt the turtle neck clung to his frame simplly, He too wore casual jeans and trainers, it was only the weekend hence the casual clothing. He soon entered the entrance hall. There was alot of commotion, he had heard from various other Slythrines that there was a new student of course it didn't very much surprising but clearly it was the talk of the school. He saw a small gathering of people ahead, and various scents in turn the first one and more dominant one was Faiths he took that moment to inhale her scent. underneath that scent was one he recognised, His instintive reaction was to defend, given the Territorial behaviour. The scent belogned to Gary Nightshade, not only this there was another too, one he didn't know, then to top this was the ususal mixture of other students. Heading over he approached the small group.

Alex tore his gaze away from Gay as he gave the boy one last smile and jogged after Faith. Before Gary caught up Alex began to mumble, "Faith...is Gary...you know, gay?" He blushed even more and his childishness, but he needed to ask. He couldn't hang on to someone who wouldn't be interested...but from the looks he was getting. Alex wasn't sure. All he could think about was Gary and the boys dorms and, well, the rest could only be left to the imagination.

"Im not sure, but it's always worth a shot," She whispered into Alex's ear before looking to them. "Exucse me a minute," Faith said simply before running over to Edward and kissed him quickly on his lips as she smiled and kept her arms around him. "Gary's here and Alex, he's new, Dumbledore had told me to show him round, would you like to meet him?" She asked softly, taking his hand in hers, not caring if a teacher saw as they all respected Edward.

Gary's blush deepened, "Umm yeah...err...sorry." He laughed nervously and smiled at Alex before looking back at Faith. His smile, however, fell like a ton of bricks as he looked over Faith's shoulder to Edward. His hands immediately tightened into fists as he suppressed a growl. Edward had that effect on him. He didn't notice Faith and Alex already heading towards the lake, as he locked his gaze with Edward. His muscles tightened, ready for attack, a natural instinct towards the enemy. He had never had a good control over his anger.

"Gary?" Alex called from the edge of the lake, he seemed to have frozen where he stood. Alex followed his gaze to where Faith and another person she knew were standing. The two boys she was near seemed to be shooting daggers at each other. Alex's heart sank a little, he thought they would be fighting over Faith. Of course, Gary wasn't looking at him, he was looking at Faith. Alex sat down on the grass and just watched.

Gary tore his gaze away from Edward at the sound of his name and looked over to Alex, his eyes softening. He jogged over, remembering to keep at a human pace seeing as Alex didn't know what he was. He smiled, nervous again, "Sorry... Edward and i have our....disagreements..." he said, trying to phrase it as best he could. It was far too complicated to explain the whole story. He smiled then looked out towards the lake, "Shall we go see the lake? If you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of the squid or a mereperson."

"Honestly, you boys are just so silly," She mumbled as she looked to him with a soft grin she led him over to Alex, frowning as she saw his saddened expression, "Alex?" She called as she stood him up and grinned to him with a wide grin on her lips, "This is Edward, Edward, this is Alex," She said simply with a amused smile on her lips, her hand tightening around Edward's. Looking to Gary, she then shot him a wary glance.

Alex simply nodded at Edward. He had his own ideas about what those disagreements could be, but he didn't say. "Sounds good," Alex replied to Gary, getting to his feet and brushing the grass stains from his trousers. "So this giant squid," He began, grinning at his new friends, "How big is it?" Alex looked over the lake to see if he could catch a glimpse of anything, but for having such good hearing his eye sight was pretty poor. It wasn't bad enough to have glasses, but it became annoying when somethings were blocked from view.

Gary glanced at Edward, 'Oh great, so now you're joining us?' he thought, his eyes narrowing at Faith for bringing him along. He looked back at Alex and smirked, "Well think giant and then some." Gary looked out across the lake, squinting against the sun. "Right there," he said, pointing over to the far side of the lake, where a large tentacle was just visible. He frowned, perhaps it was too far for human eyes to see. "Can you see it? Just a tentacle. It normally comes out more in at night time."

Alex blinked at Edward, not quite sure of what had just happened. Alex turned to Gary and looked out onto the lake, "I must have missed it," He said quietly. Alex made a mental note to go on some night time walks, or maybe, he faced Edward and then Gary, maybe it wasn't safe. To avoid further confusion, Alex stared out to the lake pretending to be looking for the squid.
