Marcus pushed his hands deep inside of his coat pockets. An icy wind battered his from behind, causing his black hair to whip around his face in a frenzy. He muttered darkly to himself as he strode across the grounds, his long legs making quick work of the ground. He stood before the large wooden doors of Hogwarts and looked up, a cold smile spreading across his face. "Home sweet home," he murmured, his dark eyes glinting in the moonlight. Another gust of wind blew, causing his coat to fly open. He cursed then pulled open one of the doors and hurried inside. He turned around to face the entrance hall and smiled again, seeing that it was almost deserted. He took a few steps inside, his shoes clacking against the stone floor. 'I think my final year will be extremely interesting,' he thought as he looked around the hall, the same cold smile on his face.

Daisy felt herself shiver from what could have been called a blizzard that was bursting from the main doors in a flurry of blurring white as other students appear, clambering into the warmness of the castle and talking amongst themselves. She walked in slowly and pushed her brown fringe out of the way as she looked around and lent herself on a wall not too far away from the entrance hall to the great hall itself.
The sounds of children rejoycing as they saw there firends again and others, walking around in pairs or threes. Christmas was a truly magical time in Hogwarts, with the Christmas spirit already flowing through most of the student's viens.

A frown creased Marcus' forehead as he heard the door open. He turned his head to the side and looked at the girl who had just walked in. He smiled slightly then turned and walked towards the stairs. He watched as the few people in the hall made their way to the grand hall for the meal, one meal he wouldn't be attending. 'Perhaps i'll go for a fly instead,' he thought, still smiling.

Daisy looked over to the boy who had walked past the Great Hall and was heading towards the stairs when she saw he had dropped something, she was quiet a distance away so wasn't sure what he had dropped. She walked over and looked down as she saw it was his wand she picked it up in her skinny fingers and looked up calling over to him, "Excuse me, you dropped something.." Daisy ran up after him and looked up to him as he was a few steps ahead of her so was much taller than her, almost towering over her. She lifted up his wand to give to him with a small smile placed on her thin, pale lips.

Marcus stopped abrutly and looked down at the girl. He looked at his wand in her hand and snatched it out of it, "Thanks," he muttered darkly. How had he been so foolish as to drop his wand? He glared at the girl as if it was her fault then turned to continue walking up the stairs, muttering under his breath. He couldn't deny the fact that the girl was pretty, but he didn't need anyone in his life.

"Excuse me," She breathed again; she knew he might have been angry but it was worth a try, he didn't seem so...happy like all the other students were. "Are you ok?" Daisy asked softly, her voice calm apart from the fact that she was rather scared of the tall boy who had glared at her.

Marcus rolled his eyes then paused and turned around, "I'm perfectly fine. How kind of you to worry about someone who you don't know," he said, again his tone was dark and quite harsh. His eyes narrowed again and he turned around for the third time to start walking up the stairs.

Daisy raised her eyebrows as he walked off, how rude. She bit down on her lip as she twirled back on the step that she had been standing on and crossed her arms feeling rather annoyed witht he boy who she was only trying to see if she could help. But boys will be boys, you can get nice ones and mean ones, he was a mean one. Daisy muttered under her breath, "Jerk." Before he was out of sight and walked down the steps and towards a group of Ravenclaw friends whom were also in her year.

Edward was just coming up the steps he heard the conversation of course he stopped dead as the Ravenclaw girl nearly catapulted into him, he side stepped to try and get out of her way, he said "ignor him" he mutted, glancing up with his butterscotch gaze past the girl towards Marcus whm he had met he spoke conversational tone yet his voice would carry "I didn't really think you tone was nessesary do you?" he questioned his voice soft and calm

Marcus paused once more then turned around and smiled, recognising the person's voice, "My tone? Well, perhaps not, but some people who stay out of other's peoples business, don't you think?" he smirked slightly at the double meaning then turned to the girl. "My apologisies Miss....?" he left the sentence hanging, although his tone was still slightly harsh. He didn't make a habit out of making friends.

Edward chuckled lightly "still so rude, I see you do not place your mannors where your mouth is" he mused, returning the smirk bizarrly they were some sort of friends if on an extreamly low level then added "Alas, if only a certain being did not ligure with there business to loudly a certain other being may be able to stay out of it, it is diffrent when the other insists" he chuckled to him it made perfect sense he doubted it would for the others "It's miss Daisy Lowe Addison, if i'm correct?" he turned to the girl briefly "we have had a small encounter "he turned to Marcus then "Miss Addison if so formal, at least your trying I suppose" he mused with a small smile

Marcus' smile broadened slightly, "Oh i can be polite, if i try really hard." He turned to Daisy then smiled, more calmly this time, "Marcus Page, a pleasure i'm sure..." he said, although it didn't sound as if he was pleased to meet her. He glanced at Edward and smirked again then shook his head slightly, 'So interesting,' he thought, looking back at Daisy.

Edward chuckled "nearly" he stated with obviously amusement at his efforts he smirked slighlty "that is only half of it," he stated he was tempted wether or not he should show Marcus the other side of his talents, wether it would work or not was diffrent it had only mainly worked on other beings like himself, Edward shifted a fraction to the sidehis hands he burried within his pockets as he watched Marcus still rather petty attempts "it's more of in the expression the words" he suggested with another chuckled

[.. I'll butt in too! ]

Shae walked down the stairs with a scroll of parchment in her hand, and stopped at the top of a turn, to listen to the conversation a few steps ahead of her. With a roll of her eyes, she walked down the stairs towards them.

Shae had been there borrowing a book from the library - she'd looked everywhere, and, as it was an old and rare book, Shae could only find it at Hogwarts. Dumbledore had been so kind as to allow her to drop by and borrow it.

Shae stopped next to the Slytherin boy and whacked him over the head with her scroll, then waved it at him, like a teacher who was teaching a student a lesson, "you're embarrassing the house of Slytherin, dear boy. Should you want to insult people, atleast do it in a poised and proper way - don't give the rest of us a bad name, because of your disatisfied adolesence!" she said and shook her head, giving Edward and the girl a gracious smile.

"Yes, yes it is.." She looked to Edward, woundering what he ment by they had a lttle encounter but she had never seen him before. Daisy stood slient as she watched the rude boy with her eyes slightly raised; obviously not impressed with his behavoir. He almost repulsed her, made her blood turn as she just wanted to hit him. Why would someone be so rude? Daisy looked up to Shae, remembering her from Diagon Alley, giving her the love blue dress that would have fitted her so well, "Hello." She spoke softly, her eyes trying to avoid the gaze of hitting the rather large Slytherin boy.

Marcus turned around and glared at the person who had hit him. He rolled his eyes then folded his arms across his chest. He leant against the banister and looked between the 3 people, 'Too many people at school,' he thought. He liked being alone and was used to it, most people tended to stay away from him anyway. He wished he could curse the girl behind him but he knew that wouldn't get him anywhere but trouble.

Edward inclined his head polietly in greeting to Shae, before his gaze darted to the boy "What do you expect it is a school" he added glancing to the other before looking back to the boy hearing such a validated thought, Edward cleared his throat softly and a dark eyebrow lifted in response "Lets not get dentions now" he stated in reply to many things at once

"Don't you all have class?" Shae inquired, looking around. She couldn't help but mumble to herself, un an inaudiable tone, "I swear, it's as if no one ever studies around here.."

Shae had a habit of hanging around Hogsmeade and Hogwarts a lot, despite the fact that she didn't live anywhere near. She'd noticed how so many students snuck out at night, ditched classes to go swimming in the lake and so on and so forth. It made her unhappy to see the young purebloods go to waste like that - she had always been an excellent student. Always getting into trouble and sneaking out at night, of course, but she never slacked on her work.

Marcus lifted his gaze to Edward and rolled his eyes, "Mmm let's not," he said shortly. He raised an eyebrow as well, 'Hmm do you not think it's rude to pry into people's minds all the time, Edward?' he thought, smiling coldly at him. His gaze turned to the girl for a moment then back to Edward, the same smile on his face. He looked at the older girl and smiled, "Everyone's in the hall for the feast. I tend to avoid such occasions, as it seems, so do they," he said, referring to Daisy and Edward. He raised an eyebrow, "You tend to hang around here a lot, for an ex-student. I wonder what the attraction is..."

"I do, yes" he answered "But not for another hour, and I was actually on my way the common room" he stated, Edward had, had many years and withit knew each subject like the back of this hand owing to the fact he repeated his year when ever a new headmaster arose, he had done homework that wasn't even due in yet, yet edward had know the homework there for had done it, a slight positive in his talent. he looked to Marcus and smirked a fraction "That rule would apply if people wern't to think so loud, it's kind of hard not to listen" he mused then added at his comment about the feast "I don't eat, and it seems pointless putting up such a charade when the food they have repluses me"
