Josh Delk walked into the Entrance Hall of Hogwarts stunned by the old architecture. He stood bedazzled by the majesty of this school. It was nothing like Durmstange. As he looked around he saw a blond girl talking to some other students but as they left Delk walked up and in a deep german accent he spoke. "Excuse me, could you tell me where the Slytherin Dorms are?"

"Don't ask me I'm in Ravenclaw and new here myself." she said turning around her accent almost as thick as his but a good bit smoother from her time at Beauxbatons. She looked at him curiously her blue eyes almost piercingly beautiful as she tucked a stray curl behind her ear. Her hair was up a bit messily in a twist of some sort. He looks so familiar she thought looking at the boy. "Delk?" she finally said outloud. "Delk ist es Sie wirklich?" she asked in her flawless natural language, German.

"Ja, das ist mine name." he said not able to secure the face haloed under the golden locks as he pushed his bangs out of his eyes. Then the face and voice registered. "CHRISTABELLA'?!?" he exclaimed exaggerating the last part of her name like he did when they were children. "When did you start at Hogwarts?" His gray eyes searching her familiar face. A face he never thought he would see before graduation.

She laughed having not heard herself called that since she was little. "Not too long ago." she replied, "I actually finished all the coursework at Beauxbatons a year early so my parents decided to send me here to broaden my horizons more..But what about you?" she asked curiously. "I thought you were at Durmstrang." she said a little confused as to why he would have come here to Hogwarts of all places. It was true it was one of the best wizarding schools in the world but she knew how his family was and that they were as bad as her family about prestige and class in society.

"Um," He said not knowing just how to answer the question. "It was because of Ven that I transferred." He said hoping to avoid the real answer. His pain of his brother's fate passed through his eyes without him willing it to. There bright gray turning molten and dull. "But I am also here to broaden my horizons due to the fact that Durmstrang had noghing to offer me after I finished there obscean demands of O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s." he said with a half felt grin.

"What do you mean because of Ven?" she asked looking at him. "Is he alright?" she asked not knowing that he had died. "I feel so foolish I haven't seen or spoken to you or your family since right before we started school, and I've been staying busy trying to hurry up and finish school so I can get out of here and not have to worry about any of this." She honestly felt bad since she hadn't had time to contact any of her old old friends. But that was what she wanted wasn't it? To make time for no one but herself and get herself ready for her future as a wife and mother without friends to hang around with?

"He, ..., He." Delk stuttered. He took a second to clear his emotions from his mind. His face falling easily back to the mask of a charming ice prince. "He died actually, this past summer." Delk's face betrayed no emotion as he said this. The only tell that his feelings were pent up was the single glistening tear that rolled down his face.

Christy gasped, her hand going immediately to her mouth, speechless. A loss for words wasn't even how she could describe herself at that moment. She had grown up with Ven and Delk and knew how close they were when they were little at least. It took a minute to get over shock and tears started welling up in her eyes, "I'm so sorry." she said wiping her eyes and pulling him into a hug. This wasn't how life was supposed to be. she thought as she continued crying. People just weren't supposed to die, especially people one that was like an older brother to her since she had no actual siblings.

Delk looked at her wishing he could display that kind of emotion for the loss of his own brother. Realizing that he was staring in a strange fascination with her open display of emotion. "He died doing something he was good at." Delk said in a low tone. "So what have you been up to Christy?" he asked his voice cool and calculating. "Any thing new?"

Christy pulled away from him and wiped her eyes. "Nothing." she replied honestly. She wanted to tell him of her parents' plans for her but wasn't sure if they were still that close. But they did grow up together didn't they? "I'm engaged." she said looking at him. "Though I haven't seen my fionce in seven years so I don't know if it still counts since its an arranged marriage." she continued to say. She always found things easy to tell Delk, more so than anyone of her other friends or family members. She didn't know why but something had compeled her to tell him but she wasn't quite sure what it was yet.

Delk looked at her with a slight smile on his face. "You're referring to Kenji right? You two finally got engaged? When?" He was shooting this volley of questions at her to cover up the feeling of telling her something only one person from his past had ever know, Ven. Thinking to him self, I should tell her. After all she is one of the only people from my past that I can talk to now. "I have something big to tell you too." he said making sure no one was around to hear him. "Lets just say your Veela powers have no effact on me." he said with a wink.

"Yes I'm referring to Kenji." she replied, "Actually quite sometime." she sighed, "Its an arranged marriage...I..I..Its been official since I was three." she said looking down almost as if embarrassed about it. But she loved him didn't she? She was sure she did, she had only had a crush on Kenji since she had first met him, even though he thought of her as a spoiled little princess. Granted she was but, but she hadn't seen him since she was ten. "I haven't seen or heard from him since we were ten." She looked at him curiously, "But anyway, what did you have to tell me?" she asked looking at him curiously, "And my veela powers never worked on you, or anyone in your family for that matter."

"Well the whole not my family is because were Veela blood as well, but if I hadn't been they still would not have worked." he said again with a wink and a slight smile. He laughed nervously hoping that she would catch his meaning.

Christabelle's eyes got extremely wide, "You're gay?!" she exclaimed then quickly looking around to see if anyone had heard her. She was greatful that no one had, and that they were the only two around to hear her outburst. "Sorry, I..I just never expected that of you I guess.. I mean other people definately but you, and Gary." she said shaking her head, "I never guessed it, I swear if Kenji turns out to be gay too, I'm going to kill myself and I'm taking you down with me."

"Why me?" Delk replied with a heart wrenching pout. "It wouldn't have been my fault. I've never even met him remember?" his pout growing into a mischievous grin. "So," He said as he gently bumped his shoulder into hers, "whose Gary?" His playful smile was infectious due to his powers of charm and charisma not to mention is Veela blood.

"Because it seems that every guy thats around me is gay and I can't have any of the attention to myself!" she said crossing her arms and pouting. She hated the fact that guys just didn't seem to pay attention to her here no matter how hard she tried, and it really annoyed her. Was there any point to being alive if you weren't noticed for being beautiful? Christy didn't want to know if that was a life or not that she wanted. She highly doubted that she wanted to be in a life where no one paid attention to her.

"I will always give you attention." Delk said as he playfully lifted her up and twirled her. There bodies looking like a multicolored top. He set her down gently and leaned against a near wall not just to steady him self but so he could look as cocky as he always felt. "And I'm sure there are some straight guys around here." He said as he looked around to see if any one was about to walk in on there conversation, "besides with you being betrothed to Kenji dosn't that put a bit of a hamper on the dating thing?" he asked his voice and eyes playful.

Christy giggled as he spun her around still smiling as he sat her down. She looked at him confused, "Delk I haven't seen or heard from him or his family in over seven years." she said being completely honest, "What if it was called off?" she asked looking at him, "Its a high possibility because I found out when Kenji's parents told him and I wasn't supposed to know yet." she looked a little upset. "I can't wait my whole life for something that might not be happening..And you can't blame me for that." she felt bad about that but knew it was the truth. If Kenji wasn't around then why should she be waiting, no matter her feelings for him, she was still a woman now and needed to have some attention and happiness in her life other than sitting and waiting which just made her want to pull out her hair.

Delk smiled. His disarming allure, and his infectious good mood at its highest out put. He simply looked at her before speaking, "Your right," he winked at her his crooked bad boy grin as usual took over. "As always. But right now is not the time to think about that. We only have one year before we are supposed to go back to our lives in Germany. We should have all the fun we can..." He trailed off as his eyes lit up mischiviously. "Speaking of which," He leaned closer, "we should sneak out of here and go to Hog's Mead."

"Sie sind nicht, um mich in Schwierigkeiten sind Sie?" she asked looking at him knowing how mischievous he could really be. "You know my parents will kill me if I get into trouble." She was amazed at how she got out of trouble the last two times she had gotten caught out late at night and didn't wish to repeat it a third time. "How I managed to get out of trouble the last time I have no clue but I don't wish to repeat having to do that one." she said giggling at how she swam in the lake and ran around the castle in nothing but her bra and panties. "My parents would have killed me if they had known what I did."
