Aurora wondered back into the castle, she had been taking a walk neer the lake and it had started to rain. It wasn't that she was bothered by the rain but she had become so wet so quickly that she had gotten freazing cold.

Aurora stood in the entrance hall, alone and silent. She could hear the rain falling hard and fast outside, but she didnt move. A little first year ran past her giggling hysterically. Yeah you stare all you like kiddo she thought to herself, slightly annoyed. Auror shook her wet hair. What was that spell? it wouldnt come to her. She would have to wait for it to dry naturally, as her hairdryer wouldnt work on the school grounds. She sighed to herself, and wondered why she was just standing here in the entrance hall. She patted her hair again, and yet again wondered why she was still here.

Hunter soon ran up the steps into the entrace hall his coat pulled up over his head, he had just been on his way form Hogwarts station and got caught in the middle of the trenchal downfall, he took of his jack, revealing to be wearing a comfortable fitty light blue jumper,he shook his coat droplets splattered on the floor and he groaned at the cold and as rain trickeld down his back, it was then the hair on the back of his neck prickled he turned aorund to see a rather wet Aurora he walked over to her with a chuckled and a grin "Darlin!" he mused, they wernt dating yet, so where they stood was anyones guess "you look..wet" he chuckled purposefully stating the obvious.

"Hiya" Aurora said happly seeing Hunter, they wernt exacitly dating but they had been out together a couple of times. Aurora chuckled too, "I guess Iam" she said looking at her soked cloak and grabed a handful of her hair and squeezed it, a puddle of water driped onto the floor from it. "You look pritty damp yourself" she said brightly eyeing his coat in his hand and chuckling.

"Yes" he chuckled "that's what rain does" he mused with a small laugh, "what can you expect, I hate the rain at times" he rolled his eyes "say, what are you doing tomorrow?" he asked casually, "my religion as it were tomorrow the 2nd is Imbolic st Brigid's day, and well I was wondering if you were up for celebrating it with me?" he asked rubbing the back of his neck perhaps vaguly embrassed at such a question.

"I guess it does, but I dont mind the rain, the sound is.. carming" she said chuckling and shrugged.
"Is that you asking me on a date?" She mused thoughtfully, "That would be lovely." Aurora said happly, maby she would finaly manage to have a stable relationship afterall. "So what does 'celebrating' a saints day include in your religion'?" Aurora asked interestedly.

he smiled and chuckled "yes and no, Basically it involves me asking you around mind for dinner and then the celebration of Imbolic" he smiled, then begun to walk to the staff room with her "Imbolic is one of the eight sabbats in Wicca. Most commonly it is celebrated on febuary 2nd, since this is the cross-quarter day
on the solar calendar" he chuckled "yes astornomy related anyway it's
halfway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox in the northern
hemisphere. Originally dedicated to the goddess Brigid, we Wiccans celebrate Imbolc as one of four "fire festivals", which make up half of the
eight holidays or "Sabbats", of the Wheel of the Year,
Imbolc is The precise
astrological midpoint in the Northern hemisphere which is when the sun reaches fifteen
degrees of Aquarius. In the Southern hemisphere,
if celebrated as the beginning of Spring, the date is the midpoint of Leo, and is also the point of intiation..basically" he chuckled "Imbolc translates as 'in the belly', so this should give you some idea of what
this festival is about - the early stirrings of Spring in the womb of the Earth.
The seeds are starting to stir in the ground, despite the cold. It is a Fire festival but with the emphasis on Light, celebrating it's
return as the days grow longer with the return of the Sun."

As they headed in the dirction of the staff room Aurora listened intently as Hunter explained Imbolic and the celebration that goes with it. "That all sounds very interesting." Aurora said thoughtfully. "So its spring holiday?" she asked trying to sum it up. She smiled as he finished his explanation "That would be lovely Im sure, although I have never been to a Wiccan celebration" she mused.

He smiled as they walked "yeah, something like that" he chuckled and looked to her, "what do you say?" he asked pausing on the top steps he had to head off to his classroom "come round mine for a few drinks some dinner and then the celebration of Imbolic? you don't have to participate in it, but it'll be nice if you do" he smiled and waited a reply

"That sounds nice, and i guess i will join in" she said smiling "you can show me what to do" she said chuckling. Thanks." she said happily and hugged him in a friendly way.

he chuckled "Welcome, he returned the hug aware of students watching, he wrote and adress on a spare piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to her "Heres my adress, if you come around for 4- 5ish? that would be great" he smiled excitment already bubberling,"see you then" he smiled and ave a small wave before he headed off to his office first
