Oh lamb thou art fragile (Faith)

He and Faith had only recently married, his wedding figner glistend neatly on his finger as they drove in the direction of the beach. The weather was warm, humid perhaps and yes it was night, yet there was perhaps no more a romantic place then down at the beach at night, with the stars shining brightly in the clear sky. The large moon reflected upon the dancing waves. The car ride was silent. Simply enjoying the silence. Faith sat beside him in the car all the way. Eventually they pulled up by the beach the gentle crash of the waves as they clashed over the many large rocks, the beach it's self was a sandy one. Cutting the car's engine he climbed out and unloaded the few items they had packed it was a smaller honeymoon, a quite, yet familar one. Within moments a tent was set up big enough to sleep two. Not that Edward himself would be sleeping. With the tent set up Edward soon mandged to get a small fire going, a campfire as such, large. He stood back and watched as the flames climbed higher and licked at the oxygen and the night, it crackles contently as it ate at the dry wood of it's base. The orangey, yellowish colour of the fire, relfecting in his own golden liquid topaz ones.

Faith crept out of the tent and slipped her hands around Edward's shoulders as she then kissed the top of Edward's head, "Hello," She whispered as she then slipped herself onto the sandy floor beside him, the grains of sand still warm from the heat of the day - "I set out all the sleeping stuff, so you can be comfortable," She smiled even though he obviously wouldn't be sleeping, she enjoyed having him next to her so he could at least pretend. She looked over to the sun that was slowly setting over another busy day , yet it was a beautiful one at that so happy that she could now spend it with her Husband. It was so surreal to know that the handsome figure beside her was now hers, she smiled as she then looked back to the fire that Edward had just started, warming her slim figures to the flame.

Edward turned his gaze to Faith who padded her way across the sand to him and soon slipped her arms around his shoulders. He inclinded his head a fraction to allow the delicate kiss against his forehead, his arms in turn slowly slipped aroun Faith's waist as he pulled her closer in a intimate embrace under the stars, and by the burning fire. He sighed contently and closed his eyes dropping a kiss to the top of her head. His lips linguring thier for a moment. Slowly he pulled back, his hand cupped Faith's chin as he brought her chin up to his own, therefore rasing her on tiptoes as he dropped another, small affectionate kiss to her lips. Before he smiled a genuine crooked smile and pulled back. "Thank you, not that you needed to, comfort means very little to us."

"I know, I know," She whispered as she placed another kiss to his rock hard crooked lips, as she then slipped her hand into his as she stood beside him and looked to the sea, she could drag him down their later but she didn't want to ruin the peace around them now. "What do you remember about when you were human? Im just curious, wether I will remember my human years 100 years from now," She hinted slowly as she then curled her fingers through his hair as she then kissed him again, letting her lips linger on his as she then placed her tiny body closer to his, fitting into him perfectly.

Slightly taken back by the question Edward returned the both kisses he then frowned lightly and sat down by the fire pulling Faith down slowly beside him. He then hunched over resting his elebows on his knees as he thought about the answer. What did he remeber? He exhaled slowly and stared absently into the fire. "I don't.." He frowned lightly then continue "..remeber much..it's all patchy, it is never complete, if there is one thing reveled you look at it as if to remember but it just goes again, and you spen ages trying to find it once more." He sighed then slowly laid back, resting on his elebows then, one knee was raised to the sky, his foot flat on the sand. "My mother..She was the hetic type..always worrying about finances and small things..my father.." He paused trying to remeber as he looked to his pale hand that toyed with a stand of grass that had grown in a small tuff. "My father was very strict, he was one who worried about appearences..above all, and he expected the very best from me, as a young man, he took intrest in finding woman, whom were of an upper class then us, I tried..with a few to please him..but they were all rather..well snobbish I suppose, the typical girls who fussed about thier hair and thier make up and looking nice for guys.." he shook his head and laughed briefly, "My father grew very irritated with me, for i had not choosen anyone..and my mother was a lady who lunched I lacked..the affection then" He shrugged he had more to say but he did not wish to bore Faith unless she asked of course.

"Oh my poor, poor darling," She whispered as she trailed her hand over his cheek as she sat with him, turning to him so she could gaze at him with love and affection as she then laid her hand on his before she placed a simple kiss to his lips. "Im glad they were snobbish though, otherwise," She raised her hand flashing her ring to him, "this would never have happened and I would be long gone," She whispered as she then slipped her hand to his cheek and nuzzled her nose into his neck and gave another small kiss to his nose. "I will never lack affection to you, I swear as long as I have you and Daphne, I shall never ever need anything more in my life, I promise." She added as she then pressed her lips together letting a small smile take over, "Yet I would have loved to see what you used to wear back then, when everyone wore long dresses and looked so smart, I think I could have grew up in that period of time, yet I know people would have looked down on me more for my clumsiness." She added with a soft laugh, her fingers soon twisting around his, the fire flicking off his pale skin, before she then pressed her forehead to his, giving him one more, long, passionate kiss.

"You got used to it over time though." He smiled and chuckled softly at Faith's comments as he too felt her hand caress his cheek, he turned his lips and pressed a brief kiss to the palm of her hand. Only to then recive a kiss to his lips which he returned slowly. Once again Edward chuckled "They were just not my type to..proper" He rolled his eyes and smiled to Faith as she flashed her ring "And yes true, although I would of waited for you regardless" He admitted. Once again he felt Faith's hand as it brushed his cheek, and then the sudden strage pleasent sensation of Faith's nose against his neck. Laughing softly he gave into the slight ticklish sensation of her nose and soon enough he was laying on the san an arm under his head, as he gazed up to her. He listend intently to her promises and smiled "I beleive you, nor do I want to much though" He smiled crookidly and sat up only to lips nip at her neck, his teeth briefly grazing her neck his lips against her ear as he inhaled her scent slowly. "Mmm I could quite litrally eat you." He smiled and brushed a kiss just below her ear before he pulled back and resumed his current position. He shook his head with small laughter. "I doubt they would of looked down to you for it, they were all rather clumsy half could not even walk in the heels they wore." He stated. The he rolled his eyes. "What I wear now is more or less what i would of worn then" He added then gestured to his shoes. "Surprisngly these shoe's have lasted a good 50 years" He said flashing a impish grin to Faith.

"Oh, it proves that you don't like shopping," She giggled childishly as she felt Edward's lips to her neck, a highly sensitive area for herself aswell as Edward as she pushed him back down onto the sand, slipping herself to straddle him whilst looking down to him, running her hands through his hair again and again. "Im glad because I have no idea what I would have done if I hadn't found you," She whispered as she then pressed her lips to his forehead, "do you want to go for a swim or is it just me tonight?" She asked as she let the moonlight glisten in her eyes as she then slipped her hand up and down his chest, wiggling her hips about against his as she then fell onto him, "Well, Im glad about that, I can hardly walk without heels," She added as she then rested her lips to his.

He chuckled softly and shook his head "You are so human..ruled by your hormones" he smiled up to her and captured her lips briefly before he rolled her off of him so he was on his sid facing her and very close to her. "I'm afriad it is just you, I don't feel like swimming, to wet" he chuckled lightly and gently as he bruched a kiss to her cheek and turned to lay once again on his back. "I still have to control the amount of times we do have sex." He added in a slightly stern voice as he gave her a small look only for his lips to curve up at the corners into a crooked smile, as he layed beside her facing her. One arm was under his head his hand of the other rested on Faith's hip. "You don't even have to go swimming, I quote like it like this, you and I, beneath the stars simply talking." He then smiled once again "and no sex."

"Im your wife Edward, our first night of being married and you deny me sex." She shook her head as she then tapped his nose with a small frown, "What am I going to do with you?" She whispered with a small, teasing grin leaving her lips as she then placed her hands on her hips as she sat on him, rather comfortable for someone who felt as if they were made of ice cold stone. "Im not saying I dont like this, but don't you think, a month and a half without sex is enough for your poor wife?" She asked as she then sighed and nodded, rolling onto her back as she looked up to the stars, "I understand, it's something wrong with me." She added, trying to hide that it was a lie, pretending to be annoyed with Edward, as she then slipped her tongue over her lips.

Edward smiled soflty and tired to playfully bite her finger as it tapped his nose although purposefully he missed. He then looked up to her as she sat on his lap quite happily, he chuckled huskily and shook his head. "There is nothing wrong with you Faith, but your life is not ruled by sex, I am therefore teaching you that principle" He added and danced a kiss to her jaw line, "Maybe if your a good girl, i'll let you for now. NO and I repeat NO sex" He arched an eyebrow and looked to her with a gentle smile, as he then laied back down on his back in the san his arms under his head.

"Oh Edward, you are so annoying." She huffed as she then picked up the sand in her hand and sprinkled it over his chest, "So, annoying," She repeated with a small frown on her delicate and small brow, "you're giving me a headache," She whispered as she then flashed him a small look, one of sadness as she then place her head onto his chest, "Why not, Im your wife, I should get a say in this. You've shown what you mean, a month and a half is long enough, please," Faith as she ran her fingers tips up and down his arm as she face him, pouting her pale lips whilst flashing her eyes up to the stars, being alone outside with Edward scared her slightly but then she remembered how Edward was possibly the best bodyguard she could ever get, before she then picked up his hand and kisses his fingers.

Edward smiled innocently, or as inocently as possible his lips slowly pulled back under the smile to reveal his pearl white and slightly sharp teeth. "Love you too darling" He mused as she then sprinkled sand on his chest he rolled his eyes but chuckled softly as he brushed the sand from his chest, only for that to be replaced by the sudden f;ay of black hair, of Faith's, he moved his hand and toyed with a small collection of strands of Faith's hair. He sighed hearing Faith's pleas again. "No, I said if you would a good girl, you can be as moody as you like I'm not havign sex with you still" He said quite sternly althought his lips twisted into a small smile, he then moved his hand to cup sand, and then to get her back and to change the topic he sprinkled it down her top

Faith shivered as she then shook her head, "You are unbelievable, some Honeymoon this is." She whispered as she sprinkled the sand in his hair before she scrambled up to her feet and ran as quickly as she could trying not to trip herself up by the sand to the waters edge, where she then looked around. She was bound to fail this game, Edward could easily win with his speed advantage. She looked around as she panted and took off her shirt, throwing it to the sand where the water soon washed over it, she then stood in the moonlight, covering her bra and then her skirt which she could easily slip down if needed to run faster, her clothes would catch the sand, holding her back from the weight, she needed all the help that she could get.

Edward smiled "So bite me, actually i would very much like to see you physically try that" He chuckled before he recived a facefull of sand, he sat upright then and ruffled his tossled bronze hair discarding remaining sand. He then got up as Faith was already on the run. He shook his shirt free of sand. to make the odds slightly fair he removed his shirt putting it out of the way of most of the sand. Till he stood topless under the gleaming moonlight. Although he could of course cheat and use his vampire ability to his advantage, he was not quite that mean he could also run and human speed. So with an impish smile he ran down to faith and scooped up slightly wet and dry sand and patted it together to form a nice circular ball shape, which he then lightly and empasize on the lightly threw at Faith hitting her exactly on her bum.

Faith gasped as she shrugged down her skirt as she then ran along the beach and picked up a handful of the sloppy mush of sand, carving it into a ball before throwing it at Edward, hitting his chest, "Aha!" She laughed as she then lifted her arms up straight into the air and cheered happily, "1-1," She smirked before she then continued to run, but made her legs move quicker, so she could move away from Edward yet she knew he could still get her. She then knelt down as the water lapped at her legs, whilst she then scooped up more sand, ready to attack back at Edward once he had his go, getting back up so he wouldn't hit her somewhere where it would hurt.

Surprisngly the sand made contact with his chest, laving a small sand shape. He chuckled then wiped it off, before scooping up more sand and patting it into a ball. Once done he then threw it swiftly to wards Faith hitting her then on the back lightly, he chuckled softly and ran off at obvious human pace, and then stopped a good way away from Faith, his lips pulled back over his teeth into a broad smile and a light soft chuckle left his lips as his eyes gazed to the pratically naked Faith. He knew she would try what ever means to have sex yet Edward was dentermined not to give in.

She pulled a face and let her hand reach across her back to rub the patch of sand across her tanned back, "Ow, that hurt!" She muttered as she flashed a small look over to him before she then threw the ball of sand back over to him, willing it to splatter on him yet she was getting tired from the running about. She then ran towards him and jumped on him, "Ahah!" She laughed as she then wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his strong neck as she then trickled sand down his neck, a devious smile hanging off her lips, her cheeks red and she shook and swayed with him, full of energy.

Edward chuckled further, before within moments Faith had launced herself at him, her legs suddenly wrapped tightly around his waist. His arms strong and muscular caught her and held her with ease he took a stepp back to steady himselg, just as he felt Faith drop sand down his back, to which he pulled a dissaproving face, only to smile a moment later. He pressed his lips to the indent of her neck and inhaled the fresh sweet scent of Faith once again. "What had you been eating enough to make you this spontaneous and hyper?" he questioned with an arched dark eyebrow.

"Im not sure," She whispered as she then shut her eyes as she rested her chin ontop of his head and smiled as she then felt the ocean breeze spray water along her naked body, she giggled as she then let her arms slip around from his neck as she leaned back her hair falling under her in a fountain of black curls. She shot herself up banging her nose against Edward's forehead, "ow," She whispered as she then slipped two fingers under her nose, "blood." She whispered to warn Edward, slipping herself out of Edward's grip and rushing into the tent to sort herself out.
