Alex kissed Gary back, eventually having to pull away and breath. He wrapped his arms around Gary and rested his head against they boys chest. It was nice to feel the cool skin around him. "I love you," he whispered slipping his hand up and holding Gary's in it. Stepping away he smiled cheekily and lead the other boy back to the castle, it was getting chilly after all and they didn't want to be caught out of bed.

Gary smiled and rested his forehead against Alex's, "I love you too," he said, softly. He smiled at the strange feeling of their fingers entwined going hot, cold, hot, cold. "Better not get caught out," he said, smirking as they walked back into the castle. He couldn't stop smiling, he was just so happy that things had been ok between the two of them. There had been a time when he had thought he'd never be able to get over the Change, but now, looking back at it, he had been a fool.
