~The proffesor of Defence Against the Dark Arts(DADA) office.~
Professor Snape sits,looking at some papers on his desk.

Edward, came into the class room with an essay and a note, excusing him from the lesson next week, as he was due to hunt then, nothing like forward warning. crossing the classroom effortlessly and gracefully he reached then back and climbed the small stairs with ease to the office door, Edward then knocked briefly and waited word to be allowed in, he knew Snape was in there so there was no doubting other wise.

"Come in.......",Snape said in his usual mean tone.Wondering who came to disturb him.

Edward opend the door silently and stepped in closing the door behind him, and striding over to Snapes desk, Edwards features where defined and sharp, he wasn't one to answer any questions mainly he was very much a silent being, and independant yet that quickly dissapeared when ever Faith was involved, "Afternood Professor" he said his voice soft, muted and articulate, a possible old fashion tone, his eyes contrasted against his complextion they were a deep dark brown not quite black, but unatural all the same, there was slight brusing under his eyes, his skin a luminecent white.

"May I help you,Mr.Cullen,I'm very busy........",Snape said a lil mad.His eyes darting,at Edward,as they do to everyone,that seems to fear him.He was very busy,on Dumbledore's project,and he had no time to be bothered,by a student.He continued listening to Edward,as he was also,doing paperwork,at the same time.He just kept his ears open to the student.

Edward continued to speak, fighting the temptation to smirk, Snape believed he- Edward feared him? hardly ,considering Edward was the one who should be feared in certain terms, "A few words," he begun polietly "I won't be attending you Lessons next week, for reasons, and I have here you work you set, the Essay? done ahead of schedule, and a few other pieces of work that may surpise you" he mused internally, it being work that Snape was to set, yet Edward had done the piece.

"Why exactly,will you not be in class,Edward.......",Snape asked Edward supsciously(Sp?).Snape wondered what Edward was up to,and why he can't come to class.He knew he wouldn't find out unless,he tortured Edward.He decided not to because it'd blow his project,from Dumbledore.He silently waited for Edward's response,as he stood up.He looked at Edward strangely,as he stood there.

casually he shrugged, "Reasons, forgive my rudeness professor, but it is not for you to know, perhaps If you aske the headmaster he will tell you other then that I believe it is not your business from my view, I'm away, lets say that for sake of detentions, you may give me one as I know you will evidentally, but whether I shall turn up to them is an entirely diffrent matter, as for Exploshion, go ahead, by all means, it wasn't my choice to attened the school , but this is completly off the topic of disscussion, so lets leave it at that?" he said pointidly and flatly there weren't many students who stood up to Professors, or professor Snape for that matter Edward was possibably the first, he had heard of Harry's rebels but he doubted they where this set in stone.

"We'll see Edward........."He let Edward leave,and then took out his wand,waving it at the door."Colloportus!",he chanted as he waved the wand.The door suddenly locked,and only the reverse spell,could unlock it.Severus continued his work,sure that there were no interruptions.He sat down again,doing his work,for Dumbledore's project,as ordered.He sat looking at papers,finally alone.

Harry walks up to Snape's office. "Professor Im here for my detention."said Harry a little irritated.

Snape waved his wand,and chanted."Alohomora(Sp?)!",Professor Snape's door became unlocked."Come in,Mr.Potter........",Snape said silently,to his student.He kept his eye on the door,waiting for Potter to enter,the room.He sat there,ready to give Harry some work,as a punishment."............"Everything was quiet,as Harry entered Snape's office.He watched the door knob turn,as he stood up.

Harry walked into the room. "Hello Professor"Harry said with bitterness in his voice. "Shall we get started?"Harry asked. Harry had always disliked Snape. He also found out that Snape had been subjected to most of his father's bullying. Snape was cruel but did he deserve that.

"Fine then Potter.........",Snape said,in an angry tone.He placed down some questions on the magic,he's been learning,but there were many questions,to do."Try to do this well...",said Snape in a grouchy way.He hoped Potter would atleast do good on this.If Potter did bad,he could just make Mr.Potter,keep doing it,until done correctly.Everything,was quiet in the office,as he noticed,Harry's bad atitude.

Harry had answered all the questions with ease. After all DADA was his best and favorite class. He had been taught by 6 diffrent teachers. Lupin and Moody his favorite by far. But still the way Snape talked about the Dark arts was like he was in love with them. Still Harry continued answering the questions.

Professor Snape keeps his on Potter.He knows he's a disliked teacher,but he must be like that for a reason,he cannot tell Harry.He makes sure that Harry doesn't use any magic on the test/quiz.He stands there,looking over Harry,and looking at his answers.He waits for Harry to finish the questions,so he can grade it.He stands there silently,knowing what Harry was doing.

Harry finished it. "So am I free to go yet?"Harry asked. Then he waited for Snape to answer. Harry tried to apply Occulemency just in case Snape was trying to get inside his mind.

"Whats the hurry potter......",Snape asked confused.He wondered what was wrong with harry.He looked at Harry,and knew not to try,his plan yet.He looked at Potter,took his paper.He read over the paper,replying,"Ok job potter......."

"So can I go?"asked Harry again. Harry knew what Snape was playing at. He had always held Harry longer than any other teachers.

"Ok Potter you may leave....",Snape said grinning.He opened the door for Harry,as he watched him leave,and he then shut the door.He then returned to his work,silently."Hmm......."He thought to himself,as he worked.

Harry walked out and headed down with a type of sprinting. Harry thought that detention wasn't that bad compared to the others. So Harry went back to the common room.
