Alex didn't know what to say, he was stunned beyond belief. Smiling suddenly he wrapped his arms around the other boy's neck and hugged him tightly, "Thank you," he whispered before leaning back a little and kissing the Gryffindor on the cheek. Gary had never done anything like that for him, this was an entirely new experience all together. Alex bit his lip and pulled away fully from the other boy, a smile still broad on his face. He now felt like he needed to do something in return, but what? and how?

Alex frowned slightly, he knew that wasn't fair. He really did need to do something in return. Maybe he would do it when Elijah was least expecting in. Alex bit hit bottom lip and took ahold of the boy's hand as he pushed the gem into his pocket, "Coffee?" he offered, knowing that he could start repaying the boy by buying him a drink at the least. Besides - once you've seen one museum you've seen them all, and Alex knew pretty much all he needed to get through life.

Alex chuckled lightly when the boy finally admitted he was lost. Luckily, being a werewolf, Alex had a perfect sense of smell and knew exactly where the nearest Starbucks was. He didn't know wether he should admit this to Elijah or just keep walking around with him. No doubt the quicker they found the coffee shop the quicker they would part company and therefore, probably never see each other again. Alex really didn't want that to happen, not now. The boy had stolen a priceless gem for him, so hopefully they might at least be able to stay friends. Then again, it was customary for Death Eaters to hate each other, so Alex doubted ti would go further than this.
